VA visits , seems I’m going more often than I care to admit. However on the positive side. I do enjoy talking to my other veterans , hearing their stories, the crazy adventures and hard times. Got to take the good, with the bad. MRI scheduled. Surgery soon after.

The RA has been getting worse, so instead of fighting with the bone shears like last year. I upped my game. Bought this new toy with a food grade stainless steel blade and new shorter body, this beast Spatchcocked the 21lb bird in 6 seconds. Oh, the bird is in the cooler used specifically for brining multiple chickens or one large turkey.

Just went to my god daughter’s ROTC celebration. I wouldn’t normally go to these things but I did for two reasons, cause I’m proud of her and it was a Marine ROTC.

Not that the political aspects of the world aren’t important, but I’ve got my feed filled with 100% veterans and thier posts. I’m in a much happier place.

This year brining and smoking a 21lb bird. Last years was 15lb and spatchcocking it was a pita because of my bone shears quality and the RA developing in my hands. Any recommendations? Hacksaw? Hand held reciprocating blade saw?
