This is a supertrawler. One of 26 that operate in British waters.
Together with the EU they scrape over 500,000 TONNES of fish from our sea a year. Leaving our fishermen on their knees and supermarkets importing the fish we eat from … China.
Brexit allowed us to fix this devastating mess but we didn’t. Both Labour and Tories say they have no definition of a supertrawler, so they can ban them.
How’s that sustainability goal working out?

If someone is earning £13k while working..
that will be a part time job .. and eligible for benefits..
Not all pensioners on the top rate £13K are eligible for additional benefits..
As for ‘free health’ the NHS is free for everyone -
even those who’ve never done a stroke in their entire lives
and illegal immigrants .. 🤷♀️
I just wish they’d stop banging on about ‘well off’ pensioners and focus on the scammers and those who’ve contributed absolutely nothing to this country 🇬🇧..

Lots of talk about the damaging effects of Folic Acid in the British food supply, some would even suggest it is poison.
Who was behind its introduction?
Daniel Zeichner and Gillian Merron.
Zeichner played a central role in the UK’s decision to mandate the addition of folic acid to flour.
As the Minister for Food Security under the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), Zeichner introduced and signed off on the Bread and Flour (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2024.
Baroness Gillian Merron, the UK Minister for Patient Safety, Women's Health and Mental Health, announced new legislation to require the mandatory fortification of non-wholemeal wheat flour with folic acid to help prevent neural tube birth defects.
According to Wikipedia Zeichner's father was 'an Austrian political refugee whose family fled Vienna in 1938'.
Merron was chief executive of the 'Board of Deputies of British jews' from 2014 to 2021.

Nice to see consultant doctors are going to strike in November.
You know the people earning £113,000 to £150,000 per annum on the NHS. Plus whatever they earn on top for their private work.
While pensioners on less than £13,000 per annum are waiting years for an operation.

Regarding synthetic Folic Acid - It appears that this is exactly what government wants to happen.......
FOLIC ACID: This is what Bill Gates & the WHO, have ordered the UK government to put in flour, against all principles of consent:
"Our findings suggest that in adult males the dual insult of a high fat diet combined with excess folic acid may promote fat mass gain, adipose tissue inflammation and systemic glucose intolerance. Obesity and the metabolic syndrome represent major public burdens and the link between excess folic acid and metabolic complications warrants further investigation given the ubiquitous presence of folic acid in the human food chain."

🚨WETHERSPOONS: We saw the videos so STOP the spin and just apologise.
The statement trying to link this to a protest does NOT answer the central point people saw in the videos.
The video showed something very simple, remove the Poppy and you can come in. The issue was not behaviour, not disorder, not some protest elsewhere, it was the Poppy. That is why their explanation is not landing.
Wetherspoons should hold its hands up, apologise, deal with whoever made that decision and move on. Most people like Wetherspoons, and Tim Martin has always presented himself as proudly British.
The Poppy should never have been the problem. Reform UK will always respect the Poppy and its true meaning.

It really is utterly abhorrent that @UK_Parliament have mandated a synthetic man made drug with its own patient leaflet in your wheat flour. Folic acid increases the odds of getting cancer fourfold.
This poison and any other ‘fortification’ has to be withdrawn forthwith.

One thing that's surprised me about Andy Burnham is the extent to which he just lies.
He says this morning small boats are because of Brexit and "we can't return people".
The FACTS:
In last 5 years of Dublin agreement the UK took in far more migrants than it sent back.
2016: net 200
2017: net 150
2018: net 1000
2019: net 500
2020: net 800
Five years = net 2,500 more migrants than sent back.
Plus, now we'd have to sign up to the migration and asylum pact so the numbers will be enormous.
He knows this. His advisors know this.
They are just lying to you.

OK. Wetherspoons have come out with a poor statement in my opinion trying to connect the refusal of entry to a protest going on up the road away from the premises. This is retrospective awful spin. We’ve all seen the videos
The manager/security made it clear. Remove the poppy and you’ll be allowed access. This means the men rejected were not rejected due to poor behaviour nor because they may or may not have attended a protest. They were rejected purely for wearing a poppy. As I say, it was stated if they removed the poppy they’d be granted access. The poppy was the problem not the men.
Wetherspoons should just hold their hands up. Apologise and reprimand the senior manager who made that decision.
That’s it. We all like spoons. We all know Tim Martin is a proud countryman and we support him. But they need to get the message right on this and not try to gaslight the public.
