Been doing it for years.
Mass Effect fans are calling for a boycott of all EA products and services in protest of the company closing down BioWare and canceling the next Mass Effect game. bit.ly/4siIubW
Tim Sweeney is actively trying to tank the company and get fired before his contract ends for a serious severance package at this point and I cannot be convinced otherwise.
Tim Sweeney is criticizing Valve again over Steam’s requirement for developers to disclose their use of generative AI.
The Epic Games CEO called the policy “abhorrent,” arguing that developers are being forced to make a “political statement” that could be used against them by a “hate mob.”
Sweeney has been criticizing the policy since 2025, previously comparing the disclosure to a “Scarlet Letter” and arguing that AI will eventually be part of almost every game production process.
"My definition of woke changes when I see fit and that means your definition of woke isn't right because I changed it"
Shut up, bottomfeeder.
I cannot imagine hating a medium so much that you make it your life's work to call out the smallest thing you don't agree with and tell people not to enjoy because of said thing. How miserable does this make someone? What other aspects of their life do they hate this much?
Totally wasnt the revenge porn thing or domestic abuse that had anything to do with it. Fuck off.

The literal worst person (IGN, not the writer of this article) actually made a very good point for once?
Miracles.
EA's complete misunderstanding of BioWare's RPG heritage and a desire for mass market, microtransaction-fuelled action games has robbed us of one of the industry's greats. bit.ly/4skXwy5

This is a solid point. DS remake was PHENOMENAL and EA shelved it. EA are the same ones that killed that franchise years ago with DS3. Sales expectations, private investors and shareholders, and overpaid CEOs are the problem, not because of "woke"
Replying to @MonsterEagle91
Motive made one of the best remakes in years with Dead Space and EA still shelved the franchise because it missed sales expectations. Then they moved the remake’s creative leads onto Battlefield.
Apparently making a great game isn’t enough unless it’s also a fucking blockbuster.
Now is 100% the time to say this:
Anthem was actually a solid fucking game. I'm actually mad at myself for waiting until its final days to binge it until the very last second it was live.

I could probably scroll for hours and continue reading the words of support for the studio, the legacy, and the impact that BioWare has had on you. It means so much to us. There is so much talent on this team of of OGs, so if you are aware of any roles, please send them. I will personally vouch for everyone in my crew.
As for me:
At least i don't have to call in sick when GTA 6 comes out.
Ouch
Jason Schreier has confirmed that the leaked Mass Effect Universe trailer is authentic and that the footage is indeed from the now-cancelled Mass Effect game BioWare was developing.
