A message to all Grangetown residents,
The events we have witnessed across the UK this week are deeply disturbing. Rioting, violence, and arson have no place in a civilised society.
We are aware that parts of our community are fearful and justifiably concerned.
We firmly believe that our strength as a community lies in our diversity and tolerance. Together, we believe we can combat racism and foster a community where everyone feels safe and valued.
If racism is affecting your mental health, this page has details of organisations in Wales who can help.
If you or your family feel threatened or intimidated at this time, we are here to support you.
In solidarity,
Ash, Sara, Lynda and Waheeda

All schools have disposable and reusable products. Anyone can take as many as they need home, for themselves or their families.
Schools PLEASE make these accessible in a dignified way.
Hubs have products over Summer.
LYP is open all summer too.

🏏🌞🌳 Breaking news, Grangetown!Sevenoaks Park is now hitting a six straight into the summer!
We’re bowled over to announce a brand new sporting facility for the community at Sevenoaks Park….
#GrangetownGotGame #CricketsComingHome #SummerOfSixes 🏏🌞🌳
@cardiffcouncil installed a brand-new, purpose-made matting wicket - just in time for cricket fun in the sun this summer.
We’re advocated for this facility for a long time - just one of the ways your local Labour team is always on the front foot, batting for Grangetown.
Parents, encourage your little cricketers to make the most of this top-notch facility. Who knows, we may just be nurturing the next Ben Stokes or Anya Shrubsole in Grangetown! 🏏
(PS - it’s also for the grown ups!)
