Penny Hardaway and the Memphis Tigers are now 2-0 with wins over Iowa State and VCU!

Jayden Reid is playing like an All-American.
And Memphis is 2-0 with a pair of big time wins to open the 2026-27 season.
Reid drops 32 with 7 assists as the Tigers beat VCU 89-88 in a classic at FedExForum.
A missed opportunity for the Rams and the Atlantic 10.

Longest drought... @MemphisMGolf is returning to the finals for the first time since 2012!

I love the President and I'm so grateful he's in the Oval Office. Of course, I'll continue to support him and the America First agenda.
At the end of the day, I do nothing for the approval of man. Our purpose on this earth is to glorify Him in all we do. The truth social post missed the mark. It's now deleted. Amazing!
We're imperfect people. I know I am. I don't get my feelings hurt easy and I know with the President it's really not personal. I want to spend eternity in a real place called Heaven. I'd love for Trump to be there too.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. I'll keep doing my part by speaking truth & doing my best to lead others to Christ.
(and no, I won't be selling merch with his insults on them hahaha)

Sheesh catching up & some of these responses to the Memphis hire are wild.
Charles Huff has HC experience, recruiting clout, former players apparently love him, developed guys like Saquon & Najee Harris, time under Saban. Excited to see next era of Tigers football play out.

Memphis has hit home runs with first time head coaches three times in a row. Do the Tigers go that route again? Or go for a more experienced option? Charles Huff, Tyson Helton and 5 more head coaching candidates to watch: nytimes.com/athletic/6852517…
Everyone in the universe knows you miss that free throw, except our head coach. Unbelievable coaching malpractice by Penny Hardaway.

"Every single team ... well-coached team ... they go over dead-ball situations like that. When you make the free throw, it's essentially like giving them a timeout."

Maybe unlike the last two years, Memphis will be playing its best basketball in March. Tonight was a step in the right direction.
No one is trying to pull the team apart. We would just like you to play for a conference championship at some point given you have more resources than every team you compete against.
No team in the American has invested in football financially like Memphis. And over the last 2 seasons, we can't beat Navy, UTSA, UAB or East Carolina. Something has to change.
No chance Memphis is 7-1 without the August addition of Cortez Braham @slick_tez. He leads the team in receptions, receiving yards and has more touchdowns than the rest of the receivers combined.

This is on Silverfield. B/c this is what his teams do - lose to teams they shouldn’t. On him to make it right. Back against wall now to make AAC title game. Don’t wanna hear about injuries b/c we didn’t excuse Penny for trny loss after losing Tyrese. Where was the defense today?
