Q: Talarico said he would stand up to his own party. Do you believe him?
Texas Voter: I do. I think Talarico is kind of the bright light... He seems to me to be someone with integrity, and integrity in politics has been on the decline.
I see him almost as that light on a hill to bring us back to politicians who are voting in alignment with their conscience, their morals, and doing what’s best for their constituents.
Finally some one who articulates the issue instead of hyperbolizing the topic. I wish this would resonate more than a “party” attached to who said it.
James Talarico on abortion:
"Some of my spiritual heroes, like Pope Francis and Pope Leo, are pro-life. I can respect anyone who is pro-life. We treat this debate as a philosophical debate or a theological debate when it's actually a public policy problem.
We can join together to make sure we have scientifically valid sex education, that folks who need contraception can get it, that everyone has health care—something the Catholic Church has led on."

More disappointment coming out of @KellerISD. One of our HS was just told (w/no explanation) they are no longer allowed to perform “The Laramie Project.” It had already been approved AND cast. The principal & District Fine Arts Direc did NOT make this decision. @MattShepardFDN /1
