Bro-the issue isn’t whether, or not it was Green Screen, or AI Generated. I’ve been saying for YEARS—-get @WWERomanReigns material in the can when he’s there—-to put into the show when he’s there. That’s SMART. The problem is in @SamiZayn’s opening promo he made it clear the Roman was not there. All they had to do was label the pre-tape “Earlier this week”. Details are just so important. When I give my opinion on how the @WWE might be able to get some casuals back in order to build their audience—-which is a good thing—-the IWC goes ballistic. Why? Because wrestling has become tribal—-which is a bad thing. Nobody else is allowed to watch and enjoy wrestling unless they are part of the “Cult”. Thus your problem. RussosBrand.com

To my BELOVED Supporters, Over the past few weeks I have received many e-mails, dms and text messages concerning my status with @jcwlunacy . For those of you who know me, you know I don't hide from the truth, I don't avoid the truth and I certainly don't lie about the truth. The reason for my silence was that . . . I just didn't know. I just needed some time. I'd been unhappy for a while in @jcwlunacy and I'm not going to deny that. Something had to change. Without getting into specifics, there were a lot of reasons with the biggest one being that at 65 . . . I'm not the same guy I was 30 years ago. Things have changed, life has changed and more importantly . . . I've changed. A short while ago I had a phone conversation with Violent J and we have amicably agreed to part ways. Hey man, it was supposed to be for a few weeks, maybe a couple of months, but we KILLED IT for an entire year. So now . . . it's time to move on. What the future holds . . . we shall see. I'd like to thank Violent J---one of the kindest, gentlest, most creative souls I have ever met in my life, the @jcwlunacy locker room---who treated me with the utmost respect, and the entire crew who worked their ARSES off every day. Yeah, it was a wild ride . . . but, now . . . maybe I can finally take that nap. God Bless, Vince RussosBrand.com

Did @davemeltzerWON see this and retract his statement like a true journalist would?
Why Spike TV canceled TNA...according to Spike TV 's own executives (An excerpt from 'Beyond Nitro' by @GuyEvansBooks): Despite conjecture proposing that Vince Russo’s secret TNA involvement had been a proverbial ‘last straw’ – relative to the company’s working relationship with Spike TV – the matter did not, as a matter of fact, influence the matter in the least bit. In the final analysis, states Kevin Kay, formerly the President of the network, the decision was informed by the age-old issues: “ratings and money.” “It had reached a point where the ratings were just not improving,” he says, “and after being in business for a bunch of years, the license fee – while not anywhere near the WWE or the UFC – was [cost prohibitive]. At some point, we ran the math and it was like, ‘The ratings don’t match the price.’ “[Furthermore], we still didn’t have any kind of robust advertising revenue. The sales people didn’t really feel like they could break that wall down about wrestling – so the deal was up, and we were like, ‘Sorry, unfortunately, we’ve had a good run.’ “Dixie tried to come back with a plan to reduce the budget, but my sense was – at the time – that reducing the budget wasn’t the problem. It wasn’t like it was all that much money anyway. It was a good amount of money, but…cutting the budget wasn’t going to increase the ratings. It was probably going to do the opposite, so we just made the decision to let it go.” Reporting by Mike Johnson later revealed that as part of the negotiations, TNA had solicited a rights fee of $26 million, whereas Spike – in what represented quite the differential – countered with an offer between $14-16 million. “That seems true,” posits Kay. “I’m going to [estimate] that [$26 million] would have been almost double the rights fee that we were paying them at the time…somewhere in that ballpark. “And that was never going to happen. If we were going to renew it, it probably would have been at the same price – no more – or [even] less. [Again], my decision…and our decision as a company was like, ‘The ratings aren’t going up. Cutting money isn’t going to help. So it’s time to move on.’” For further comments from other Spike TV executives, read the special TNA section in the book by @GuyEvansBooks: BEYOND NITRO: Untold Stories from the WCW era, available on Amazon, Audible and Apple Books. I gotta say, after the @TheCoachandBro episode with @TonyKhan I have HUGE respect for Tony. He's really the man that he comes of to be. While the AEW style may not attract me (I went to the first show in DC), the MAN Tony actually has a justifiable logic to what he says and does. And TK actually just seems like a genuinely nice dude. More than anything, I think the conversation between @THEVinceRusso, @Thecoachrules and Tony shows how there can be a common ground even with differing opinions. People who are hating on that episode and conversation REALLY just want war.....but When is episode #2? I feel like this should be a monthly conversation.

Dave, if Coach and I are “Bad Faith People” because we have an opinion, then what does that make you? You have been giving your opinion on professional wrestling and everybody in it for 44 years. Are you saying that for 44 years you’ve never had an unfavorable opinion on anybody or anything? You are such a hypocrite, man, and a total disgrace to that fish hat you wear. Why don’t YOU grow a set and come on”Coach and Bro”? We would both GLADLY come on your podcast. You aren’t scared, are you, Dave?
