I've had a couple of sharp friends recently tell me that the only way forward with #COVID19 is to keep everything open and hope people make good choices. I'm also still hearing that Corona isn't much worse than the flu. So I took another look at the numbers.
I wrote this because someone told me that masks don’t work and lockdowns are stupid. Masks are as cheap as putting on a seatbelt. If they work even a little bit, they're worthwhile. They also signal that you give a shit about the people around you, which is nice in a pandemic.
