"Thank you to the voters of British Columbia for showing up"
I just wanted to send a thank you to the voters of British Columbia for showing up and voicing your opinion on the change in leadership this past weekend. I love my country and my now home province of BC and am optimistic this change will allow one of the most beautiful places in the world to prosper even further. I wish @LDoerkson and his team nothing but the best in the work that’s ahead. 🇨🇦

Make it so, Howie
With Colts firing their GM, Shane Steichen could be next in line. Should the Eagles bring him back? #Eagles

Let’s stop bending over backwards for the 24% who will never be happy let them bitch and complain we don’t need to spend millions to humour them all the time.
BREAKING: Alberta voters officially reject a path toward separation from Canada, with 76% voting to remain in the country.

My QB walked down the Jaguars overseas, with blood clots moving to his lungs, off ZERO sleep (knowing it could be fatal) & staying in the hospital the night before. I’ll never question your desire for this team again 💔

Trump: "I do not want to lose as your representative $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a healthcare system and other things that they shouldn't be having"
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
US Census Bureau data put the US goods trade deficit with Canada at $48.3 billion in 2025, not $90 billion. That is US imports from Canada ($381.9B) minus US exports to Canada ($333.6B). For January–August 2026 the deficit was $33.7 billion. census.gov/foreign-trade/…

A data center in Russia gets hit and pro-republican posts on social media drop 90%. Interesting.

ICBC is a great deal. It should not be privatized.
A good day to ponder what an amazing deal B.C. residents have enjoyed thanks to public auto insurance. Avg nominal premiums are no higher than 9 years ago when J.Horgan was elected, vs 45% avg increase in Canada and 119% in next-door Alberta. Data from StatsCan. #bcpoli

Major fiasco BC Conservatives halfway point of campaign. Secret letter tells lawyers, industry insiders plans for auto insurance before telling public. Assuming letter won't be leaked. Saying "everything is on table." Doerkson has some explaining to do.

BC is not destroyed. it is thriving. Life is good here. Say what you will about the NDP but keep it real. It is in no way destroyed.
The BC NDP needs to get destroyed this election like they destroyed the province. #bcpoli

GUYS Get checked out if you think something is wrong! You're likely correct! I just hit 46 and just beat CANCER. 2 surgeries, 10 rounds of chemo, 20 radiation sessions. Would have been less invasive if I was a better self advocate and it was caught years earlier.
3 years ago today I was admitted to the hospital after suffering multiple cardiac events. I was lucky to survive. I was 45. You're never "too young" to suffer a medical emergency. Make sure you see your Dr about getting proper health checkups. It will literally save your life.

Gotta give props to downtown Vancouver. I come down every year to stream and it’s: 1. Beautiful 2. Safe 3. Exceptionally friendly people 4. Very clean I’m aware there are some bad parts of town just like any city, but this place is worth a visit if you haven’t.
