Couldn't be more deserving. I've sat through countless faculty meetings and student thesis committee meetings with Victor, and I've never seen a more naturally inquisitive scientist. As exceptional a scientist as he is, he's an even better person. Huge congratulations!
Congratulations to Victor Ambros from all of your Colleagues in Molecular Medicine @ProgMolMed @UMassChan

We need your help for TENSS to carry on and inspire the next generations of neuroscientists. Logistics costs have increased and funding sources are becoming scarcer. We are counting on support from the community. Please donate!

This study shows that CD20 functions to detect predator-derived odors and is required for animals to properly avoid these danger cues. In addition to its significance for olfaction, this work also has implications for B cells in which CD20 is more well known for its role.
I'm really proud of the job that they and their co-authors have done. It answers several unanswered questions that I've been wrestling with since I was a postdoc. Hao-Ching is currently looking for postdoc positions and SunJin for faculty jobs. They are both catches--hire them!
I'm delighted to share the latest work from our lab in which @HaoChingJiang1 and SungJin Park demonstrate that MS4A1/CD20 functions as a mammalian odorant receptor in a previously uncharacterized population of sensory neurons.

Thanks for organizing this Danny (and for the Nashville Hot prize). Excited to make some fried chicken soon with it.
Just to be clear, my bracket wasn't close to winning either. Looking forward to having a better showing next year.
