Very sad indeed to hear of his untimely death. Lovely man, who did much to maintain the excellent relations between our two Inns. @middletemple @TheInnerTemple
Very kind of you, @FaiselSadiq! Good to see you last night.

It was a huge honour to be sworn in as Solicitor General. Standing with the Lord Chancellor @ShabanaMahmood and Attorney General Richard Hermer KC, we reaffirmed our commitment to protect the rule of law and advise the Government as it serves the public

I don’t often ascend the spiral stairs to enjoy this spectacular view of @TempleChurchLDN so, having made climb this afternoon, I thought I would share this photo. @TheInnerTemple

Completely blown away to be Knighted this evening on the King's birthday's honours list. I’ve spent the last 15 years fighting to make sure that Sergei Magnitsky’s death in Russian custody would never happen again. Being knighted by King Charles is the ultimate recognition that my work has left a lasting legacy for Sergei Magnitsky and helped other victims around the world.
It is the honour of a lifetime.
