The benefits of a cosmic perspective | Greg Quicke | TEDxPerth youtu.be/I51g8VGRcTo?si=gpNy… via @YouTube
Starting from the bottom, Mercury, Venus, Regulus, Mars and the moon. #spacegandalf
Solstice 10.57 pm tonight WA time.
Traditionally a moment of change, certainly of direction as the Sun stretches to its northern reach before turning to head south once again.
Today He touches the Tropic of Cancer from directly overhead. The whole of the Arctic Circle is lit up. The whole of the Antarctic Circle is in the dark. That’s what these two circles are! Not arbitrary or abstract instead fiercely practical and real as demonstrated today by the solstice.
What change are you ready for?
Awareness!
Mars and the Gemini Twins line up tonight.
If you’ve been watching already you’ll know that alignment is only for a minute (well, maybe a day).
Venus on the left moving in on the action.
Thanks to Angie Platt for the plucking the Sun pic.

The Gemini Twins vertical. Mars just above them. Watch them!
While you are at it watch Venus sneaking up on Mars over the coming month.
Almost!

Glass off at Gantheume Point Cable Beach.
Venus on the left.
Mars and the Gemini Twins making a neat triangle upper right.
If you’ve been watching the sky and my last post you’ll easily see that Mars is moving in on the twins.
#spacegandalf
That is a neat triangle.
Note its shape and spacing and check it again tomorrow.
Northern sky, fairly high, fairly obvious.
The two on the right are Pollux (top) and Castor, the immortal and mortal Twins of Gemini.
The interloper on the left is Mars!
Mars is coming in to party with the twins. Check them again tomorrow to see what I mean.

Early morning moon on rendezvous with a direct encounter with the Sun. Magic Exmouth, magic True North.
