A dream project in every way imaginable. Our next feature, THE CYCLE, lands on @shudder October 23. Led by one of the best people and performers I’ve ever met in Deborah Ann Woll. Our producer James Harris said “if you write that concept I’ll get it made” and he did.

I was working at Bon Jovi's merch company - Brothers Entertainment - during an endless procession of less-than-satisfying gigs in my twenty years as an in-demand, on-demand, Hollywood assistant. My job was to assist Jon's cousin who was a co-owner of the company and also the manager of Bob Newhart whose daughter was his wife. I was complaining ad nauseam to my friends about my job, per usual, going on and on about the P.O.s (purchase orders) driving me crazy. So for my 32nd birthday (December '07) Coen Bros storyboard artist extraordinaire - J. Todd Anderson - watercolored me a comical scene in which the swag rebels. The details of his creation have always tickled me. Look closely to see "Bon Jovi D*ldos" and "Bad Name Condom Toasters" a "Livin on a Prayer Wheelchair" "Shot Pants" "BJ Panties" and "Runaway Shoes." He was simply brilliant beyond words. John Todd Anderson. He passed October 1st and I will forever miss and love him. My artist path is not the same without him on it, but he is always with me through the incredible artwork he gifted me over the years. He watercolored my dreams into existence. Rest in peace and synchronicity, my friend.

Asked who might replace him, Mr. Coen replied, “I have no idea. It’s too dismal to even think about.”

EVIL DEAD II (1987) is Sam Raimi taking a chainsaw to the boundaries between horror and comedy. Bruce Campbell gets thrown into a slapstick nightmare where even his own hand becomes a worthy adversary, and somehow the madness only gets better from there.
