WHELF & HEWIT Colloquium 2020

So #Gregynog20 draws to a close - thank you so much to all of our attendeees, contributers and organisers for a brilliant two days of sharing and learning. Here’s to being back at our beloved @Gregynog Hall next summer!

Well, I don't know about you folks, but I've just found my favourite new Twitterbot.

Thanks to Charlotte & Simon from @jisc for an important and timely session on cyber security in the C-19 landscape. #Gregynog20

"We find that collaborators are more focused and we get quicker decisions" says Iveta Evans, Biz Analyst at @CardiffUni, about running online-only workshops #Gregynog20

First up on the main programme today, the @cardiffuni Business Analysts bring the "Zoomie Apocalypse". All you need to join in is your laptop, your joining details from registration, and of course your braaaaaaaiiins...

Here we come: it's HEWIT Day at #Gregynog20 Day 2! Or: the #Gregynog20 Strikes Back / #Gregynog20 Part Deux / #Gregynog20 and the Chamber of Secrets / 2 Gregynog 2 20 / #Gregynog20: The Two Towers...

Absolutely hilarious set from @TiernanDouieb - thank you so much for joining us - v v appreciative crowd of librarians and IT nerds here :D #Gregynog20

Lots of us gathered for our #Gregynog20 social tonight! Very excited for comedy from the lovely @TiernanDouieb :D

So are we! :D

Thanks for saying so, José - really glad you've enjoyed it!

We landed the "futureproofing" theme of this year's #Gregynog20 Colloquium LONG before we realised exactly how futureproofed the event itself would need to be! We're thrilled that the first day of our first virtual event has been such a success - thank you all.

Thank you to all of today's brilliant participants - speakers, attendees, everyone who contributed to the conversations to futureproof HE for @WHELFed. Hope you'll all come back to join us tonight for the #Gregynog20 social evening!

So important to involve student voices - all too easy for us as professionals to get caught up in talking to each other as if in a vacuum
