Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe host a star-studded celebration of GB's Paralympic heroes 🇬🇧
Don't miss the Paralympic Homecoming Show at 5:30pm on @Channel4 📲
I am looking forward to following the legacy @Paris2024 builds both on & off fields of play for disabled people. Also not forgetting we have an exciting winter games in @milanocortina26. I learn so much from each Games experience. For now, let’s celebrate the Closing Ceremony🇫🇷
The excitement of being at a seriously successful Paralympic Games both on and off the field of play… then receive a notification of successful submission of a research paper 🙌. So lucky to work with a variety of such talented teams of people in multiple sectors.
It is the second time I have watched #EqualPlay and it feels really emotional to watch. If you work in education and /or sport you really need to watch it on @Channel4 catch up…. @ParalympicsGB Social impact making a big impact away from the field of play! Sport changes lives🙌
It's time for Equal Play ✊
ParalympicsGB is today launching a campaign calling for equal access to PE and school sport for disabled children. Shockingly, just one in four say they currently take part in sport at school.
It's time for change.

Here we go…. @ClarkieGB7 our CEO opening #ChampioningChange Social impact Strategy running from now to 2032. Such an important area with #EqualPlay and #BeyondThePodium #EveryBodyMoves
We must get to parity in PE offering for children and young people right through their education journey! Can not wait for the official launch later today. Such a great documentary on C4 catch up from last week with lived experience! We must do better for the next generation!

This is the end of an important thread on everyday life using public transport when disabled in UK.We must make sure this doesn’t become a barrier to employability&disabled people’s ability to climb the ladder in London centric HQs. Plus, remote working options is still needed!
Replying to @christheowl
Finally home safe and sound. Expected journey time: 90mins. Actual journey time: 4hrs. I hope sharing this experience is helpful. It also explains why I don’t intend to get a train in a while. I’m not a Paralympian, but sometimes trying to negotiate everyday life is a big event!
The most successful @Paralympics for @ParalympicsGB & @BritishRowing ever!!! 3 Golds and a Silver! Incredible to witness every regatta since competing myself in Beijing (aside from Tokyo 2020 in 2021).
So proud of the sport and the team behind the team 🙌🙌🙌
There we have it!!!! Final Paralympic rowing race of @Paris2024 and another year unbeaten by @BritishRowing & @ParalympicsGB PR3 mixed coxed 4!
Another good for @BritishRowing &@ParalympicsGB PR2 Double Scull! @itslaurenrowles ‘s is the first athlete to win 3 Paralympic golds in rowing!
