In this heat, we think the best place you can be is in one of our four local outdoor pools! We're spoilt for choice with @GreystokePool, @shappool, @Askhampool and @LazonbyPool! #swimming #hottestdayoftheyear #hottestdayonrecord #openair #LakeDistrict #ThePlaceToBe #Cumbria

I will come and volunteer for a day whilst on holiday in August - I’m inspired by @GreystokePool having a vacation volunteer looking after the front desk last week. I’ll email you. 🏊🏊🏊 I think your pool is great and so easy to find. 🤗 xitter.cf/shappool/status/100426…

We'd buy a season ticket if we lived nearby! Love what @GreystokePool @Askhampool @shappool and Lazonby pool have done together - inspired, and inspiring potentially for other pools that sit in similar geographical area. Swim all four pools, get your fifth swim free. Great idea!

@GreystokePool we made it for a cheeky quick swim in your last 30 minutes. LOVE all your signs about volunteers, details of how much the pool costs to run AND those lovely yellow accents around the pool. Pool looking great. #communitypool #lidoroadtrip

What a fab policy - I really hope it brings locals and visitors alike flocking for a swim in your lovely pool. xitter.cf/greystokepool/status/7…
And today's water temp is.......27.1 degrees. The new policy for 2016 "keep it warm and keep it open" is working a treat #happyswimmers
