Replying to @compassbus
@compassbus a huge thank you to Natalie (in the office), Dino (seen here in the photo), and their colleague (who collected me from Graffham) for the excellent service you provided on the 99 Flex bus. This is a fantastic initiative, which deserves full credit. – at Graffham, England

Me: Can we have a field to put a small variety trial in?
Grower: Yes, of course, you can put it in Duck Field.
Me: That’s great. Why is it called Duck Field?

Solanum sisymbriifolium; a trap crop for potato cyst nematodes. This was planted at the end of June and has produced a reasonable canopy. It will continue to grow through the next few months @IFarmers @ProduceSolution @AHDB_Potatoes @LeePotato @Crop_Trials

Lessons to be learned on both sides of the #organics debate. That's why it's always good to keep to keep an eye on what's happening at #strategicfarm East. Organic, conventional and seed all in one place. Hope to see you there soon Andy. @Potatoes_East @AHDB_Potatoes #lovepotato – at Bedale, England

So what is the future of organic potatoes? Some great crops viewed this morning with Nick Taylor and @GriffithRichard from @ProduceSolution Challenges post blight being taken on with varieties, rotation and weed control. What’s not to love? #organic
