Every reply and every routine run rereads the Bot's full chat history. So a routine on your main Bot rereads your whole conversation every time it wakes up.
Give your routines their own Bot. Paste this:
"List every routine on this Bot. Tell me which ones should move to a separate Bot that only runs routines, and walk me through moving them. Don't change anything until I say yes."
Bonus: deleting old chats saves you nothing. Chats you're not using don't cost a thing.

Great tip for scripting mail box clean up!
Your Grok Bot is sorting 400 emails the SLOW way π³
If the Bot sorts them itself, the model reads all 400.
If the Bot writes a script ONCE, the script sorts them and the model only reads a short summary π₯
Same job. Way less reading. And reading is what burns your usage πΈ
The rule: rules go in code. Judgment stays with the Bot.
Script it when:

I use both Codex and Claude Code.
The best use I've found for having both is letting one write the code and the other check it. The same model tends to miss its own mistakes.
You put Claude Code on your Grok Bot. Now make Codex check its homework π€―

Why it works: an AI checking its own work has the same blind spots that caused the mistake. A different model was trained differently, so it catches what the first one walked right past. Same reason writers need editors βοΈ
