Studying Experimental Design Process in @PLTWorg Medical Detectives; discussed importance of clear, logical, easy to follow instructions. Did back to back drawing to practice giving these directions. Quite the array of drawings and lots of laughs. @nwvalleymiddle – at Missouri, USA

2023 Ozark Trail 100 Without a WHY, enduring these distances are near impossible. My WHY this time was my support system. Boy did they show up Truly shows that if you go out, put the work in, treat people right, even without ask or thought you in turn will reap those rewards.

This week is our mix unit of new games: Pickleball, table tennis and @9squareintheair A big win as coaches were smiling seeing all the Ss smile and sweat in the games! 9 square is the big win, we need another one!!!

"Death before DNF" Term used in ultra running Hours/ week, for months spent training; away from family and obligations. Unless possible long term injury or life-threatening issues we continue, one foot in front of the other until that finish line.

#dotheworkinthedark A solid training run tonight, fatigue run practice evening fading to dark. Had a little extra kick in the step. 75miles last 6 days, final 10 days of peak training! Life, work or ultra Relentless forward progress!

Weekends in the fall this year are for 100 mile training! 5 weeks from today Missouri's most rugged/remote trail: Taum Sauk Section Ozark Trail Such a hard route but views and rewards are worth it.

A few times a semester I ask students to "fill the bucket" of someone else. Write a note of thanks, encouragement or positivity to anyone AND give it to them. Wish these notes were finished & found that person and not the floor of my room. #bucketfillers #bekind @nwvalleymiddle
