We’re voting on a lot this election. But four propositions stand out because their impact could last for decades. Props A, D, E, and F would reform San Francisco’s charter and change how City Hall works. Vote YES on on these measures. Learn more at growsf.org/voter-guide/

How do we shut down SF's drug market? Start with the data. Five years ago, drug-dealing arrests hit a low: 1,780 a year. Three years ago, the city launched the Drug Market Agency Coordination Center, uniting public health and public safety for the first time. Arrests spiked to 3,223 under then-Commander, now Chief, Lew. Convictions tripled from 16% to 46% under DA Jenkins. It worked. The market shrank. Daytime dealing is gone. So what's stopping us from finishing the job? Adaptation. First, fewer dealers are left (good news!), with 1,948 arrested last year. But the ones who remain are harder to catch. They've switched from open dealing to drops and moved to nighttime, when police are stretched thin. Second, judges keep letting them go. Of 1,172 pending dealing cases last year, only 10% were held pre-trial. Over 1,000 dealers went right back to the street. To shut it down for good, we need to: 1. Put more police on the street at night 2. Launch a drug market intervention strategy that pairs prevention with enforcement 3. Hold judges accountable for releasing fentanyl dealers pre-trial 4. Change state law to treat fentanyl dealing as the deadly crime it is

Manny’s plan to build new subway lines is crazy, but I love that he’s thinking big and wants San Francisco to build. That’s unlike most of our supervisors, who just get in the way and stop things. growsf.org/news/2026-09-02-m…

When we started @GrowSF, we were shocked by how little polling there was in San Francisco. How are elected officials supposed to know what people actually want? How do you pass good policy or win campaigns around the things voters care about? Without real data, you end up listening to the vocal minority who show up to every meeting and make the most noise. So polling became a core principle of @GrowSF: ask voters what they think, make the results public, and use that information to make government work for them.
Years of GrowSF polling show a consistent mandate from San Francisco voters: build more housing, improve public safety, and deliver cleaner streets. We built a new website to highlight everything we’ve learned in one place. growsf.org/pulse/

One of the powers of 311 is it is a dataset of issues that lets the city determine hotspots, develop strategies, and track progress. It goes way beyond just responding to individual reports of issues. Without it the city actually has way less data on all these issues.
If you are observing an open-air drug use hot spot in your neighborhood, you can use 311 to report it. For the last several months, we've been hearing about increase in open-air drug use spreading from the Tenderloin into different neighborhoods, like Hayes Valley. In this video, we break down when you should call 311 vs 911 to report these incidents. Specifically, use: 311: if you see public drug use, loitering or debris 911: If you see drug dealing, violent incidents, or an overdose Filing these reports in turn helps the city build data on respective hotspots, and then deploy the appropriate street crisis or public health response to deploy to the area.

Supervisor Mahmood promised to get the long-stalled Divisadero car wash turned into housing. Now 203 homes are set to break ground after his legislation cut roughly $4 million in costs and helped make construction possible.

The results of @GrowSF's SF resident poll are interesting. A city now in recovery. Since expanding their Flock camera & drone initiatives last year, they saw the largest improvements in public opinion re: crime. 72% of their residents support the use of cameras and drones.

When we started @GrowSF, our plan had two steps: build a pro-growth majority on the Board of Supervisors, then reform how San Francisco is governed. We accomplished step one in 2024. This November, we can pass charter amendments and lock in lasting change for decades.
This November, we can rewrite the rules holding San Francisco back. We just launched our $2.6 million campaign to give Mayor Lurie a supportive Board of Supervisors and pass common-sense reforms for safer streets, more homes, and a government that works. campaigns.growsf.org/nov-202…

San Francisco's 33 speed cameras caused a 79% drop in dangerous speeding, preventing 40,000 speeding incidents every day and saving lives. Why are we even debating this? Put them everywhere. Now. growsf.org/news/2026-07-15-s…

To tackle our open air drug market, we have to take multiple approaches to cut off the supply. Drug dealers in San Francisco continue to adapt - from selling different drugs to operating out of different storefronts. Recently, City Attorney @DavidChiu in collaboration with @SFPD launched an operation to investigate - and shut down - Tenderloin corner stores that have been serving as fronts for illegal meth dealing. Over the last year and a half, these operations have resulted in lawsuits or closures of over a dozen such businesses. The families, immigrants, and refugees who live in the Tenderloin deserve to feel safe when walking down the street or simply visiting their neighborhood corner store. Operations like these will help to ensure that, and I will continue to work to support our public safety officials in accomplishing that goal.

how do you know what political groups are trying to achieve, and how they're spending their money to do it? well, you don't. unless that group is @GrowSF. this is how political organizations should operate 👏
We launched a new website with the details of every campaign we've run over the last six years. Every ad, every channel, every dollar. Two reasons. First, transparency builds trust. We became the most trusted voter guide in the city by being honest with voters. This website holds our own spending to that same standard. Second, we want you to have confidence that GrowSF is the best place to donate in San Francisco politics. Small budget, big reach across many channels. The majority of our budget goes to media buys, not overhead. San Francisco didn't turn around overnight. It took years to build the common sense, pro-growth majority that's moving the city forward. We didn't win every race. But we get better every election. And we're ready to do it again in November. Check it out: campaigns.growsf.org

Yesterday’s election showed that San Franciscans support the progress we are making and want us to continue the momentum. I know we still have work to do—and we are going to keep our foot on the accelerator to continue getting results for our residents.   Thank you to the voters for Passing Prop A to help make sure our city is prepared in the event of an emergency. And congratulations to Supervisors Stephen Sherrill, Alan Wong, and School Board President Phil Kim. I look forward to continuing working together to serve San Franciscans.    We are just getting started. Let’s go, San Francisco. – at San Francisco, CA
