I’m in this headspace where I’m having thoughts of just quitting making music, I love writing, singing, composing but since my dad passed away, I can’t bring myself back.
I don’t know if this is part of grief or depression, I just don’t know anymore.
Holy shit does it feel good to announce you’re quitting a job and have your former boss make plans to ruin her business to the ground.
The shit we do to afford living but also afford making music: started a second job last week, here’s to 60h week again 🥂
I don’t want to police anyone’s body, but goddamn i’m tired of seeing woman using their butt to promote shit. I wish music was enough.
Can’t imagine photoshopping a singer’s face on a naked body and justifying it because sometimes she wears tank top on stage. The mental gymnastics is insane.

People like YOU are the reason many of us WOMEN in the music industry are having such a hard time. No fucking respect. You aren’t a fan, you’re a thirsty asshole.

To those who work their ass off to try and make the world a better place, but get discouraged by others who sabotage and make their work harder: keep trying. You’ll eventually reach the people and places you’ll make a difference with. 💜
You can finally hear our new-ish song 🥳♥️
New(ish) song out today from @GuardaGaia and yours truly! 🥀✨

Someone pulled out a knife where I work, thankfully a customer was able to disarm the person. I’ve work in the retail industry for the last 19 years, and this year has been the worst I’ve ever seen.

So @GuardaGaia is a good (bad) influence and I’m coming to Montreal for Ev and Halestorm this October. 😎 – at Oshawa, Ontario
Why is it so hard to find people in the music business that are not trying to take advantage of you.
