Sheer amount of sport/sporting success in Australia makes it hard plus multiple domestic codes which means that reporting isn't particularly interested in MMA. Volkanovski top 10 Aussie athlete of my lifetime but Australia puts out so many great athletes across so many codes.
I admittedly know next to nothing about cricket, Aussie rules football, or rugby, but I have a question for the Australians out there: Is it fair to put Alexander Volkanovski in the pantheon of Australia’s greatest athletes, alongside legends like Rod Laver and Ian Thorpe? Because from where I’m sitting, Volk has earned his place in that conversation.

Thought R1 like 55% Oki, R2 clear Santos, R3 like 70% Oki personally.

Good for Santos to get over but shocked that fight was so close down the stretch.
Replying to @Gugabed
Santos v Oki Surprised this lined so close. Oki good athlete but coming down off several losses when he's had some chin/cardio concerns at LW. Santos live to run face first into a nuke but he's got a ton of dog in him and I'm skeptical Oki's problems are solved by going down. Santos/late

#UFC333 Volkanovski v Evloev Prime for prime I feel like Evloev is a fairly good matchup for Volkanovski. Volk's main issue historically is his average chin, his counter-wrestling and outside striking are good. However it's a 38 year old Featherweight.

Steele v Gugnon Steele has the striking defense of a building but think he's actually pretty well setup as a prospect. Great gastank, durability and wrestling plus doesn't fuck off. -150ish feels reasonable since Gugnon reasonably dangerous but think US wrestler usually side here

Lucindo v Caliari Lucindo a bit underwhelming but she's the second-coming of Andrade and a hell of an athlete. Don't think Caliari is much of anything and she's small. Price seems fine. Vaguely interested under but Caliari tough. Think people putting too much on Lemos LNPing Lucindo when Lemos is insanely strong.
