Guitarists: It’s not just how you play.
It’s how you stand like your life depends on a downstroke.
New series: Guitarist Postures & Motions - Punk Rock Edition 🎸
Now go rock that stance. Punk is all about ergonomics. Bad ergonomics. But still ergonomics.
Hard to blame bassists for fake playing when the audience is fake hearing them. 😆
Good that Youtube removed the copyright strike though 👍
Danny Sapko’s YouTube copyright strike removed after allegedly exposing viral bassist’s fake playing guitarworld.com/artists/bass…
Not sure “normal people” even know they’re called pedals… 🤔😂
I thought becoming a guitarist was a way to relax and simplify your life?😂

Metalheads spotted !
This video of Michael and Susan Dell is going viral as people realize what symbol they're flashing 😳😳😳
Hey @grok wat that it mean
NEED ! It doesn't matter what it does... ́NEED !
I thought Guitar Fail gradually mutated from curating weird guitar stuff into creating weird guitar stuff.
Then I dug through the archives. 2011 Guitar Fail would like a word.
Apparently the mutation started four months after launch.

The dentist’s weekend toy 😂
Fair enough: a Porsche sounds like a dentist drill on steroids, and a PRS makes you cringe... But it's probably the gigging dentist’s fault. 😬
Probably because most of us don't play stadiums... 🤔
Why Greta Van Fleet’s Jake Kiszka thinks more guitarists should be using combo amps guitarworld.com/artists/guit…
Straight from the horse’s mouth: the Sweet Child O’ Mine riff is annoying.
I knew it! My ears couldn’t be that out of tune. 😆

Bummer for single guitarists.
Someone should launch a Rent-a-Spouse service for GAS maniacs. Now that's a vital public service for unsupervised guitar shoppers.
Scary, welcome to the future - let’s hope this trend does not spread 😆🤘👊

You gotta love that “analog AI” concept.
When musicians build on existing ideas, it’s the creative process.
When guitar makers learn from the Stratocaster, Fender’s lawyers enter the prompt.
Glad Bud Cole cleared that up.
Fender CEO Edward “Bud” Cole has argued that AI has “existed in music as long as there’s been recorded music.” In an interview with T3, Cole described cover songs as a kind of “analog AI,” saying musicians learn from artists they admire and eventually use those influences to create their own music. He also compared bandmates to another form of analog AI, suggesting that musicians can build on each other’s ideas in much the same way AI can assist the creative process. His comments have drawn criticism over the comparison between human musical learning and AI systems trained on massive datasets of music.

Ghost-Noting is making a note feel so awkward that it leaves the harmony on its own.
You don't mute it or remove it. You just create an environment where it no longer feels comfortable.
It's basically passive-aggressive note management.
