The definition of “Home” changed a lot for me throughout these years that I’ve moved around the world. From geographical home to physical to family to nothingness, finally arriving to “Myself”.

Taking over @markpollard’s feed for #IWD today. Head over to Mark’s tweets to learn more about my path, music career turned to strategy career, things I do outside of work, and more! See you there!

Hey y'all, can you send me any open PAID internships or apprenticeships for Black creatives (particularly copywriting) actually asking for a friend. Anything like The One School
Not so humble, but: I MADE IT!
I start my first ad agency job as a strategist next Monday! Going through an emotional rollercoaster, but I'm super excited!
It's not enough to just hire diverse talent, it is about creating a workspace for them to grow, learn, and do their job peacefully. If they are faced with obstacles on each stage of their job, everyday all day, what's the point of your diversity and inclusion bs?!
Thursday thoughts: why don't we have late evening interviews? You definitely feel less pressure, there is something in the darkness that calms you down, there is not much distraction, and you can actually have a humane conversation with a person🤷🏻♀️ Right? #AdTwitter
And when you point out this fact, you are faced with "not everything should be big picture and extensive planning, we can just test". But how we are going to test and measure, and who is going to do it? What do you usually say when that happens?
Finally! First dose ✅
I hope you can tell how big my smile is under that pretty mask from @CallMeWilsar 😍 #vaccinated – at Ontario, Canada
Thanks, @toda for sharing your raw and vulnerable story!
This was fun, considering that I don't know anything about Derby 🐎 😅
Thanks, @JamesonFleming

1. Learn about your introversion. Must read: thriftbooks.com/w/quiet-the-…. It helped me see my strengths as an introvert. If before I would feel dumb not contributing to a meeting, now I know that I have to process it, and then ask q. I am more confident indicating that to others too.
2. Find your people. Networking can be draining, so connect with people with whom you have something in common, connect with them on a deeper level. Try not to go after titles, but genuine connections that will bring meaningful conversations to life.
I know, we are all very consumed by the tweet about the interview process, but I want to talk about something else.
Being an introvert in a world that values extroversion, and how to navigate this world as a person who always thought that something is wrong with them...🧵
"Embracing chaos, and finding your way in that chaos. Almost like chaos is your element. Maybe yes. Maybe no. But use the chaos to your benefit".
Thanks, @griner for such a great conversation!

But, your NSM isn’t revenue.
Ward van Gasteren says, “Revenue is the price your customer pays. North Star Metric is the value your customer gets in return for that price.”
Just because the revenue is there doesn’t mean the value is there.
Decided to start writing more often on Linkedin about brands, possible strategy behind the ad campaigns etc. It gives me courage to put things that matter to me out there, and get opinion of others:)
Here is my first post I did on @LEGO_Group:
