Credit Default Swaps for Oracle, Broadcom, and Nvidia continue to widen out, with Oracle at a 23% default probability, Nvidia at about 8%, and Broadcom at 12%. Which is pretty amazing, given these are among the largest companies in the world.

What would you tell them? - Assets: $11 million - Income: $1 million+/year - Savings: $50,000 - Private school for five kids: $150,000/year - Clothes: $2,000/month - Cars: $3,000/month - Groceries: $4,000/month - Vacations: $40,000/year - They spend more than they make each month When I ask what they'd like to change, she says she'd rather take no vacations for 10 years than sell their $2 million summer home The actual conversation is below

Excited to share this project, in which @WSJ sent me home to get a sense of how working people are getting by in this economy. I wasn't surprised to hear it's too hard to get ahead. But I took notice of the specificity of their pain—and who they blamed. wsj.com/politics/policy/i-we…

If you "remove a dose of accommodation" it implies that you don't believe policy to be restrictive. That implies there is more work to do. That was Warsh today. Compare and contrast to Waller who recently called the stance of policy mildly restrictive.
