Winter is upon us once more and the darkness swallows up the light. Something ancient, hungry and sinister stirs beneath a former British coal mining village. “Coal Face – The Devil in the smoke.” An industrial fairy tale. My illustrated supernatural fantasy book. Out now!

First week of dev’ production on a new game! Adapted from my illustrated industrial folk horror novel “Coal Face - The devil in the smoke.” The art style is in keeping with the book and the era of the setting. Lots of exciting gameplay surprises to come! The journey begins.

I hope you will join me on this exciting journey, especially all you MediEvil fans and devotees of the uncanny. As development progresses I will open up a dev blog channel elsewhere (YouTube etc) with lots of behind the scenes material and insights. 💀🔥

‘It’s the end… but the moment had been prepared for.’ This account will be properly deactivated tomorrow. Just in case anyone still here wants to hang out and chat, I can be found below at the place with the blue sky. Bye, bye. Peace and respect.
Slowly setting up a new hangout. Not bothered by huge follower counts, just having fun quality chats with likeminded people is my jam. In case you are out there too. 🦋

I have finally decided that I am out of here. No problem at all if you don’t transition or find me on 🦋 . I did enjoy my time here and consider a lot of you as good friends. I’ll keep this open and check in on some of you but I’ll not be tweeting for the foreseeable future.

Come over… All you have to do is let go of the fear of a lower follower count. And honestly, were those big numbers really making you happy? Or was it just the fun conversations you had along the way with good people. Discovering new art, games, books and films. Be good. :)

Some wonderful British films don’t get blu ray releases over here. I had to order a disc release of a film from Germany that celebrates British film as it has no UK disc. The Martin Scorsese documentary film “Made in England - The films of Powell & Pressburger.” The irony!

Yes you can stream it from various sites, and I highly recommend it. But I love to buy and own media, especially the sorts of subjects that I cherish and love to have on my shelves. youtu.be/o-gzNAY6Y6E?si=QjGt…

I think that I’ve gotten to the stage where I’m kind of bored of most social media.

Tidying up and found this old preview of “MediEvil” from PlayStation Magazine 1998. With comments on how we weren’t following current trends or fashions in game/visual design. That’s the key to enduring (cult) titles, you may never be super mainstream but you remain memorable. 💀

Another reason why the games was so long in development (as stated) was that we were a tiny team constantly finding ways to fund/produce the game. Sony liked what they saw and bought the IP and studio which secured the next few years and allowed us to hone and polish the game.

Plus, I never follow fashions! 😄 Sometimes this works in your favour with success, big budgets and awards. And at other times you take risks to do your best original creative work but are financially poor. It’s all in the creative risks.

The Apprentice is well worth seeing. As a social relic it's unparalleled, and as a movie it gleefully hits all the lowlights of this damaged sociopath's career. Well cast and persuasively acted by all. youtube.com/watch?v=0tXEN0WN…

I hope this is real and that other unseen elements are inside those boxes. 😃💀👁️
For any of my pals interested in Michael Mann’s The Keep coming to Blu-Ray or 4K Blu-Ray, I just saw the film elements were in the recent work area at the Paramount Studios Archive in the Film Lab
