Today marked my last class of fall 2020. I taught upper- and lower-level courses in every major format: online, in-person, and hybrid. Here are my initial observations about pandemic teaching in the context of a small, private college.
I have not found an online equivalent to synchronous collaboration in-person. This is where the magic happens in my courses, and it is gone if social distance is rigorously maintained.
What in the hell?
Meanwhile, my IRB is telling students they can't post survey links on social media.

Why are APA journals asking authors to use the APA 7th ed., then copy editing them back into APA 6th ed.? Shouldn't APA journals be on the forefront of ridding the world of those long lists of authors in the first citation?
