"The restaurant business is really a people business. Restaurants that think they just sell food and drinks are missing the big picture. You sell memories. You just happen to use food, drink and hospitality as the vehicle."
Your thoughts??

Everyone said "Hey Grok" was impossible on iPhone. Even Grok said Apple keeps wake words for Siri only. So I kept digging, and I found a way. Now I just say "Hey Grok" and Grok Bot voice chat opens. No extra apps, no cost, all built into iOS.
How to set it up:
1. Make sure your Grok Bot app is up to date
2. Shortcuts app → + → Add Action → search "Grok Bot" → pick "Start Voice Chat with Bot"
3. Settings → Accessibility → Vocal Shortcuts → Set Up → pick that shortcut → type "Hey Grok" and say it 3 times
4. In the shortcut's details, turn on "Allow Running When Locked"
If your phone is locked, iOS asks for one tap first. If Face ID already unlocked it, it's fully hands-free.
We got War Dogs before GTA6 🤣
🚨🇺🇸 Palmer Luckey and the man who brought back the dire wolf are building CAPTAIN AMERICA PUPS... $200 million worth of cloned and gene-edited good boys for the Pentagon
The problem Warhound is solving is real: the Pentagon runs 2,200 dog teams, buys 80% of them from Europe while bidding against China and Russia for the same litters, and has to purchase 200 dogs to field 100 because the rest wash out with bad hips, bad eyes or cancer.
Warhound biobanks the best Malinois and Shepherds that already passed, clones them, edits out the career-ending genes, and straps on Anduril armor, eye and ear protection and goggles tied into its battlefield network so dog, handler and drones share one picture.
First dogs in two years, sold as “Canine-as-a-Service,” with the Humane Society certifying training and reuniting retirees with their handlers.
Anyone who has worked next to a military dog knows they find what sensors miss and go where machines can’t, and losing half of them to genetics before they deploy is a waste the troops have eaten for decades. Lamm calls it the Captain America dog program.
A $1.2 billion valuation for the goodest boys ever made, and WORTH EVERY CENT.

I wrote about the rapid growth in the percentage of restaurant visits that are solo.
The percentage of such visits, per @technomic, is up by more than a quarter since 2019 and is up across the board, but mostly at traditional sit-down places like fine-dining restaurants.
Some of this is due to mobile ordering and third-party delivery. But in many respects those technologies are simply giving people what they want: more time alone.
And technology isn't the only reason. People are doing all kinds of things on their own, including vacations, concerts, etc.
Anyway, more here: restaurantbusinessonline.com…

Give Grok Bot the YouTube video you want to actually learn from.
This prompt turns it into lessons, quizzes and follow-up tests, so you can check what stuck.
Save the skill and use it again with the next video. 👇
I've been experimenting with turning Grok Bot into my own personal teacher.
Now I can give it a YouTube video and have it turn the content into an interactive course that teaches me, tests me and helps me remember what I've learned.
Paste this prompt into Grok Bot to turn any YouTube video into an interactive course.
"Create a reusable skill called 'youtube-to-course'.
Whenever I give you a YouTube link, turn the video into a short, interactive course that helps me learn and retain its content.
1 - TRANSCRIPT: Retrieve the full transcript. Try YouTube captions, a public transcript service, then YouTube's transcript panel. If all fail, ask me to paste it. Never invent missing content. Flag when important visual information may be absent.
2 - LESSONS: Build 5 to 7 short lessons in a logical order. Explain each idea simply, highlight the key takeaway and identify the most important lesson. Clearly label the video's unverified claims.
3 - INTERACTIVE COURSE: Create a single HTML file containing a title page, individual lessons, navigation buttons, keyboard controls, a progress bar and a multiple-choice quiz after every lesson with immediate feedback.
4 - FINAL EXAM: Include approximately 6 questions, a final score and a page showing how to apply the learning to my own work.
5 - RETENTION: After I finish, ask which questions I missed. Offer follow-up quizzes after 2 and 7 days, subject to available reminder capabilities.
6 - REUSABILITY: Save this as a skill my other Bots can use. Record which transcript retrieval method worked so future runs can use it.
Test the process on one video I provide. Show me the completed course before saving the skill.
Check the HTML for errors before delivering it. If any requested capability is unavailable, explain the limitation rather than pretending it worked."
Now any important YouTube video can become something much more useful than a summary.
A course you can actually work through, test yourself on and revisit later.

Friendly reminder that no one gives a fuck if you fail because when was the last time you gave a fuck if someone else failed? You have you even thought about anyone else's goals today.
We only fear failure because we think we are more important than we are.
