Vangrid's headline numbers hold up to checking. The useful question is what each one measures. @vangrid_io reports 1.25M+ captures, 450K+ users and $600K+ USDC settled. I went through the explorer and the bounty board [add the date you checked and what you saw], and the picture splits into three parts.
1Supply is large, and it is counted in wallets
→ The 458,021 "active nodes" are wallets that sent at least one event, not devices or verified people, and a wallet takes seconds to create
→ Daily captures peaked at 65,121 on Sep 9 and averaged about 4,000 in mid-October, roughly 94% below the peak
→ With 1.3M+ captures against 973 bounties, either each bounty holds many captures or much of the volume is not tied to a paid request
2Demand is real, early and concentrated
→ $620,030 of $636,514 in funded bounties has been accepted, which is 942 of 973, with a median of about six hours from posting to acceptance
→ Settlement runs in USDC on Base, so anyone can trace the payments
→ The requesters are 98 anonymous addresses. The top one posted 62 bounties worth $81,250, the top five account for about a quarter of spend, and the top twenty for over half
→ That averages about $658 per accepted bounty, with one $50 cancellation on the board
→ The strategic MOUs in robotics and defense are still unnamed
3Points measure rank, and bounties pay contributors
→ The Hub states PTC points track contribution and rank, are not a currency and carry no monetary value. Vangrid's materials do not confirm a PTC to $VAN conversion, and one analysis reads the whitepaper as ruling it out, even though several third-party sites claim otherwise
→ Real contributor income comes only from accepted bounties, which works out to about $1.35 per wallet if spread evenly, and it is not spread evenly
My read: the loop works for the buyers who exist, given the 97% acceptance rate and fast turnaround. The thin side is breadth. I would watch whether the 98 requesters grow past a handful of heavy buyers, whether the dashboard can show that buyers are independent of the project, and whether the unnamed partners become named customers. Wallet counts and capture totals show activity, while accepted bounties from a growing set of independent buyers would show demand.

@quipnetwork you define the problem once using its constraint language. XQVM translates it into a model, then checks whether that model actually reflects the original problem.
from there, you can send the same model to a D-Wave chip, a local annealer, a GPU, or the Quip Network without rewriting it for each backend.
the parcel yard demo was particularly interesting. its results matched the hand-built version running on real hardware, which was a nice surprise.
now i'm curious about one thing: does XQVM perform the same consistency check when a job is routed through the Quip Network, or does that validation only happen locally?
gARC
$ARC TERMINAL DIDN’T JUST GO QUIET. IT HAD TO REBUILD.
The most interesting part of @TheARCTERMINAL’s story isn’t the comeback. It’s what happened before it.
In their community letter, founders KK and Null describe an earlier AI project pushed close to failure by market conditions, lost investment, and pressure across the AI token sector.
Then came the silence.
Public updates stopped. The team rebuilt, brought in new backers, and returned with a sharper direction: an AI-native trading terminal designed to turn a trader’s idea into action.
But this pivot raises a bigger question.
What happened to the original vision?
ARC’s broader documentation points toward something much more ambitious than a trading interface: an agentic operating system built around memory graphs, persistent context across channels, reusable skills, MCP integrations, and interfaces spanning WhatsApp, voice, and Spaces.
The current product direction is more focused on crypto trading and perpetuals.
That shift could be strategic. Trading offers a concrete environment where AI can connect research, market analysis, and execution in one workflow. Instead of trying to build an agent for everything, ARC can concentrate on a specific problem with clear user demand.
But a narrower product also changes the original promise.
The question is whether the broader agentic infrastructure still powers the trading experience, remains a longer-term roadmap, or has taken a back seat to execution.
WHAT THE REBUILD NEEDS TO PROVE
A new team and new backers can provide another opportunity. A sharper product can create a clearer market position. But neither alone proves that the underlying business has been fixed.
The meaningful evidence will be product reliability, sustained user adoption, transparent execution, and a clear explanation of what survived the transition.
I see ARC’s return less as a clean launch and more as a test of whether a broad AI vision can become a focused, useful product after the original plan runs into reality.
Sometimes the strongest comeback is not returning to the old vision. It is figuring out which part of that vision is actually worth building.
HOW zScore WORKS UNDER THE HOOD: WHAT ZERUAI’S PAPERS ACTUALLY PROVE
I went through the three zScore papers from @zerufinance, and one distinction deserves more attention: reproducing a reputation score accurately is not the same as proving that the score predicts real-world behavior.
Here is what the research reveals.
1. FROM RAW TRANSACTIONS TO REPUTATION
ZeruAI maps onchain activity across 11,722 protocol-chain pairs and more than 30 categories, reconstructing wallet histories into behavioral features such as holding periods, repayments, realized exits, and interaction patterns.
The production scorer uses nine scorers, 52 component scores, and roughly 100 calibrated constants, based on a sample of 5.2 million wallets.
2. THREE GENERATIONS OF zScore
🔹 February 2025: A machine learning architecture used wallet clustering and neural networks to estimate scores within assigned bands.
🔹 Uniswap research: A hybrid rule-based and neural approach achieved predictions within 50 points of blueprint targets for 91.79% of liquidity-provider predictions and 90.83% of swap predictions.
🔹 zScore-N, September 2026: A neural network distilled from the production scoring formula, designed to approximate the existing 0 to 1,000 score.
3. HOW CLOSE IS THE NEURAL MODEL?
The production formula acts as the teacher, while zScore-N learns to reproduce its outputs.
According to the paper, zScore-N achieves:
→ 0.58 points RMSE, with an R² of 0.99997.
→ A worst-case error of 16.4 points across 13,184 test wallets.
→ Better handling of missing inputs than the original formula under the paper’s tested conditions.
That is impressive evidence of technical fidelity.
4. WHAT THE NUMBERS DO NOT PROVE
These results measure how closely the neural model reproduces the existing formula. They do not independently establish how accurately zScore predicts repayment, sybil activity, or malicious behavior.
The paper’s missing-data experiments are particularly interesting. With 10% of features missing, the formula’s output drifted 51.4 points lower, while zScore-N drifted 17.9 points.
But the neural model also showed a larger error floor on clean data, illustrating the trade offs involved.
5. THE BIGGEST OPEN QUESTION
The behavioral evidence includes an Aave liquidation analysis in which more than 75% of liquidations among over 5,000 wallets came from wallets scoring below 300.
ZeruAI’s ZAPs research also reports simulations that reduced adversarial reward capture by 30% to 90%.
These are useful signals, but independent validation would strengthen the case. The evaluation data’s relationship to the scoring pipeline and the withheld feature definitions also limit external reproducibility.
MY TAKE
ZeruAI’s engineering evidence for reproducing its scoring formula is strong. The more important next step is demonstrating that the score consistently predicts meaningful behavior on independent data, against real outcomes and determined adversaries.
Because a model can reproduce a formula almost perfectly while inheriting every weakness in that formula.
The real benchmark for onchain reputation is not how accurately a model scores a wallet. It is how reliably that score helps make better decisions.

Quantum computing becomes more useful when developers can access different architectures without rebuilding everything from scratch.
That’s what makes the QVM testnet from @quipnetwork interesting. 🦋
The idea is simple: write your program once and run it across quantum annealers, gate-based quantum systems, and classical hardware without rewriting the code for each one.
Add pay-as-you-go access and upfront job pricing, and experimenting with quantum computing becomes easier to approach and plan for.
The bigger picture is interoperability. Instead of relying on a single computing architecture, QVM aims to bring different systems under one interface.
Less friction between writing code and accessing compute.
QVM is live on testnet. Worth exploring. 🦋
trading isn't just about watching charts. understanding what moves the market and knowing when to wait can matter just as much.
that's what makes @TheARCTERMINAL interesting to me.
ARC Terminal brings market news, AI analysis, and trading charts into one workspace.
here's how the pieces fit together:
→ The Feed: tracks news and events that could influence market movements.
→ ANIMA AI: helps interpret the news and identify important levels on the chart.
→ Trading Scenarios: explores possible outcomes if the price moves in either direction.
say an asset is moving between support and resistance. instead of jumping in too early, a trader can watch how price reacts at those levels.
a break above resistance could signal further upside, while a drop below support could point to more downside pressure. neither outcome is guaranteed, so confirmation and risk management still matter.
the real value isn't having AI make every decision for you.
it's having the information and analysis to make more informed decisions yourself.
less time switching between tools. more time understanding the market.
that's the idea behind $ARC
A meme coin hit a $15M market cap in minutes, then lost over 98% of its value within an hour after the promotional posts were deleted.
The pattern keeps repeating. In May, a Solana token tied to a since-deleted post from Roaring Kitty’s account surged to roughly $11M in 20 minutes. One trader reportedly lost about $188K on it within an hour.
The flaw sits in how these launches decide who gets in.
Speed and attention determine the order. Snipers with fresh wallets and pre-positioned supply get in first, while genuine community members arrive last and become exit liquidity.
That is what happens when launches reward being early instead of being part of the community.
@zerufinance is testing a different approach: verified onchain activity.
It is called Activity Fi, coming to Zaps. Here is how the design works:
→ Existing activity establishes standing. Wallets that have generated fees, supplied capital, or demonstrated genuine usage already have a ranking before registration opens.
→ Rankings grant temporary mining rights. These rights apply to a 30-day season.
→ Related wallets are consolidated. Wallets sharing funding sources collapse into one identity, while wash-style volume scores zero.
→ Daily short auctions release new supply. Mining-right holders collect USDC based on the clearing amount.
→ Unsold tokens are burned the same day. There are no team, VC, or free miner allocations.
→ The opening price is discovered through a continuous clearing auction. Proceeds seed a locked Uniswap liquidity pool.
Underneath this system sits ZeruAI’s trust oracle.
zScore is a behavioral score ranging from 0 to 1,000, built from onchain history and already live on Etherscan. ZeruAI also analysed 3,374 token launches while shaping this model.
My take: the same-day burn of unsold supply is one of the most interesting design choices.
Miners earn only when the market buys. That removes the advantage of receiving free inventory that can later be dumped on public buyers, addressing one of the structural problems behind many meme coin launches.
But the model still faces serious tests.
First, once activity determines access, people will try to farm whatever earns them a seat. The scoring system must continue detecting wash activity and coordinated wallets under pressure.
Second, rankings based on historical activity can favor wallets that were early to an ecosystem. How newer users establish standing matters just as much as how existing users maintain theirs.
Third, no auction mechanism can manufacture genuine demand. The model still needs real buyers, sustained participation, and a market willing to value the tokens being released.
Meme launchpads solved token creation.
The harder problem is deciding who deserves access, how that access is earned, and whether the resulting market can sustain itself.
Activity Fi is an interesting attempt to solve that problem by making participation, rather than speed alone, part of the equation.

THE PHYSICAL WORLD IS BECOMING DATA. AND @vangrid_io IS BUILDING THE INFRASTRUCTURE TO CAPTURE IT.
A major milestone begins with a simple step: making a project easier to discover, identify, and verify.
VanGrid has publicly shared its CoinMarketCap verification request.
Ticket ID: 1467663
But the bigger story goes beyond a verification ticket.
AI has learned to process text, generate images, and understand digital information at extraordinary scale. Yet the physical world remains a difficult data problem. Robots need to understand real spaces. Autonomous systems need reliable environmental context. World models need spatial information grounded in reality, not just another collection of internet images.
This is the problem VanGrid is working to address.
🔹 REAL WORLD CAPTURE
VanGrid turns smartphone-based capture into a way to collect spatial information from actual environments, helping make physical spaces accessible as digital data.
🔹 FROM FOOTAGE TO SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE
The goal goes beyond recording what a place looks like. Reconstructing environments into usable 3D representations can help provide the spatial context needed by Physical AI, robotics, and world models.
🔹 A DECENTRALIZED DATA NETWORK
Instead of relying entirely on a small number of centralized collection systems, VanGrid is building a distributed network that can connect real-world contributors with demand for spatial data.
🔹 VERIFIABLE PROVENANCE
By anchoring capture attestations onchain, VanGrid is working to make data origins more transparent and independently checkable. That matters when spatial data needs to be more than visually convincing. Its provenance matters, too.
WHY THE COINMARKETCAP REQUEST MATTERS
Verification is a step toward stronger project discoverability and source identification. It is not, by itself, proof of product quality or confirmation that the request has been approved.
The deeper opportunity is what VanGrid is building underneath the announcement: infrastructure that connects physical-world capture, 3D reconstruction, decentralized contribution, and verifiable data.
If AI is moving beyond screens and into the physical world, the demand for accurate spatial data could become increasingly important.
VanGrid is positioning itself at that intersection.
The internet digitized information.
The next frontier is digitizing the physical world in a form machines can understand.

what happens when quantum computing becomes part of the infrastructure powering Web3?
that's one question @quipnetwork is exploring.
rather than keeping quantum computing confined to research, Quip is working toward a marketplace that connects quantum and classical compute resources with real workloads, while developing infrastructure aimed at protecting blockchain systems against future quantum threats.
what stands out to me is how these pieces fit together: useful computation, verifiable work, and post-quantum security.
getting all three to work reliably at scale won't be easy.
but if Quip can turn its vision into working infrastructure, it could change how decentralized networks access computing resources and prepare for the next era of cryptography.
the architecture is interesting. now the real test is execution.

WHAT IF YOUR ONCHAIN ACTIVITY COULD OPEN DOORS INSTEAD OF JUST FILLING YOUR TRANSACTION HISTORY?
That’s the idea behind @zerufinance, now ZeruAI.
In Web3, anyone can connect a wallet. But how do protocols identify genuine contributors, distinguish meaningful activity from farming, and make smarter decisions about trust?
ZeruAI is building the behavioral intelligence layer to help answer those questions.
🔹 zScore: Reputation Beyond Wallet Balance
Your wallet holds more than assets. Its history can reveal patterns across trading, lending, liquidity, staking, and governance. zScore turns onchain behavior into a reputation signal that applications can use.
🔹 Zaps: Reward Contribution, Not Just Activity
Raw transaction counts don’t tell the whole story. ZeruAI’s Zaps ecosystem focuses on protocol-specific economic contribution, aiming to make incentives more aligned with meaningful participation.
🔹 A Smarter Foundation for Onchain Finance
Behavior-based signals could help protocols improve reward allocation, assess wallet risk, and make more informed decisions around access and credit.
Why does this matter?
Because Web3 doesn’t just need more transactions. It needs better ways to understand the behavior behind them.
ZeruAI is working toward a future where reputation becomes useful infrastructure for onchain markets, financial applications, and the emerging AI-agent economy.
The next evolution of Web3 may not be about what your wallet owns.
It may be about what your wallet has demonstrated.

THE NEXT BIG AI BREAKTHROUGH MAY NOT COME FROM MORE DATA. IT MAY COME FROM THE REAL WORLD.
AI models can analyze millions of images, but physical AI faces a different challenge: understanding the spaces where robots must actually operate.
A warehouse is more than a collection of video frames. It contains aisle dimensions, obstacles, doorways, elevation changes, and spatial relationships that machines need to navigate.
This is the problem @vangrid_io is working to solve.
Instead of treating real-world footage as the final product, VanGrid turns physical environments into structured spatial data that can support robotics and AI world models.
Here’s how the approach works:
Real-World Capture
Contributors use phones to record physical locations, gathering multiple viewpoints of an environment.
From Footage to 3D Space
The captured views can be reconstructed into spatial representations such as point clouds, Gaussian splats, and textured 3D meshes. These formats help represent the geometry and appearance of real places.
Quality Before Reconstruction
Preview-based review helps identify incomplete coverage or poor captures before a reconstruction proceeds, reducing the risk of paying for unusable spatial data.
Privacy-Conscious Collection
VanGrid’s described workflow removes faces and license plates on-device before encoding, helping limit exposure of personally identifiable visual information.
Verifiable Data, Onchain Records
Capture fingerprints and attestations anchored to Base provide a way to inspect records and verify that submitted data corresponds to documented capture activity.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Robots cannot rely on appearance alone. They need useful spatial representations of the environments they are expected to understand and navigate.
As physical AI advances, high-quality real-world spatial data could become an important part of the infrastructure powering smarter robots, simulation systems, and world models.
That creates a compelling opportunity: turning ordinary places into valuable digital representations of the physical world.

Why Choose Between Yield and Trading? GRVT Is Redefining Capital Efficiency
What if the same capital could generate yield and support your trades without constantly moving between separate accounts?
In traditional finance and across many crypto platforms, earning and trading often operate in separate lanes. Put assets to work for yield, and they may become less accessible for trading. Use them as collateral, and that capital may sit idle between positions.
@grvt_io is challenging that model with a different approach: one balance, multiple ways to put capital to work.
Here’s what makes the model interesting.
Earn While You Trade
$GRVT’s Earn on Equity and Yield Layer mechanisms are designed to let eligible account balances generate yield while remaining available to support trading activity. Instead of treating yield and trading as competing uses for capital, GRVT brings them into one connected system.
Access Up to 11% APY
GRVT has advertised potential yields of up to 11% APY through its Earn on Equity program. The maximum depends on program conditions and qualifying activity, while the base rate and applicable rewards may differ.
The broader strategy includes yield generated through DeFi protocols, platform revenue, and plans to expand into additional sources, including tokenized real-world assets.
The 11% APY is a maximum advertised rate, not a guaranteed return. Rates, eligibility, and program terms can change. Underlying strategies carry risk.
Bring Institutional-Style Finance Onchain
Tokenization can make traditional financial opportunities accessible through blockchain-based infrastructure. GRVT is working to connect trading with yield-generating strategies and investment products, giving users more ways to deploy capital within one ecosystem.
Keep Control Through Self-Custodial Infrastructure
GRVT combines blockchain-based accounts with its trading infrastructure, aiming to give users control over their assets without relying on a conventional custodial exchange model. Self-custody does not eliminate smart-contract, protocol, or trading risks, so the underlying architecture and terms still matter.
Think Beyond a Trading Account
The global fixed-income market represents a major opportunity for onchain finance. Connecting traditional yield sources with digital asset infrastructure could help bridge the gap between investing, earning, and active trading.
GRVT’s broader ambition is to build a platform where these activities work together instead of forcing users to manage disconnected financial products.
The Bigger Picture
The real innovation isn’t simply a headline APY.
It is the idea that capital should not have to choose between earning and being useful.
By bringing yield generation and trading into a unified account structure, GRVT is building toward a more capital-efficient onchain financial experience.
One balance. More flexibility. More ways to put capital to work.

building in Web3 isn't just about making things faster. it's about creating infrastructure that solves real problems and can grow with demand.
that's one reason i'm keeping an eye on @quipnetwork
between its focus on post-quantum security and decentralized computing, there's an interesting idea taking shape around what the next phase of Web3 could look like.
still early, still exploring, and curious to see how the technology develops beyond the narrative.
$QUIP is one to keep on the radar. 🚀
THE NUMBERS BEHIND ZERUAI’S ONCHAIN TRUST LAYER
Most DeFi lending still prices risk almost entirely through collateral ratios. Wallet history is public, yet rarely used as a structured input for credit, incentives, or access decisions.
@zerufinance is building a behavioral trust oracle that converts onchain activity into scores and signals. Here is the current picture with the main metrics and the open questions.
1. 320M+ wallets scored across 30+ chains
zScore is a 0-1000 behavioral reputation score derived from lifetime activity (trading, lending/borrowing, liquidity provision, staking, governance, and other patterns). It is computed at scale and queryable via API. Coverage at this volume is the foundation. The harder test is whether the scores improve downstream decisions.
2. Live on major explorers
zScore appears in the Cards tab on Etherscan and other explorers (BaseScan, BscScan, Arbiscan, PolygonScan, Linea, Robinhood Chain, and others). Users can check a score next to existing transaction history. 1M+ checks have already occurred on Etherscan alone. Visibility matters, but actual usage by protocols for capital allocation is the more important adoption metric.
3. Activity Markets (Zaps) and campaign participation
Zaps tracks quality filtered onchain contribution rather than raw volume. Campaigns and leaderboards (including trading competitions) have drawn 25k+ participants. Zaps function as points tied to measurable activity. They are not an immediate token claim. The design aims to reduce sybil and extractive behavior relative to traditional airdrops. Case studies cited by the team show material reductions in low quality allocation, though independent long term retention data will matter more.
4. Research and underwriting signals
Zeru has published multiple papers (including on arXiv) covering neural network reputation models tested against historical lending repayment data and Uniswap v3 activity, plus frameworks for reward attribution and cash-flow reconstruction for short duration credit underwriting (zLend). These provide a methodological basis that pure marketing claims lack. Live undercollateralized lending volume that relies on these signals remains the clearest proof point still ahead.
5. From scores to capital efficiency
The stated goal is to use more than collateral when assessing risk, filtering incentives, screening counterparties (via tools like zScreen), and allocating capital. 3M+ API calls processed indicate some integration demand. The decisive metrics are not the number of wallets scored, but whether higher zScores correlate with better repayment rates, lower default, reduced sybil leakage, and sustained protocol usage after incentives end.
Behavioral data is public and high dimensional. Turning it into reliable, portable trust signals at DeFi scale is a real infrastructure problem. ZeruAI’s current numbers show progress on coverage and visibility. The remaining test is whether those signals produce measurably better risk and allocation outcomes than collateral only or points-only systems.
