Focused protection: To minimize mortality, older and other high-risk individuals are better protected, while the young live near normal lives to minimize collateral damage from lockdowns. Sign the #GreatBarringtonDeclaration gbdeclaration.org/

Lockdown isn’t working
"Focused protection is based on three basic principles of public health ignored by lockdown proponents: minimize long-term mortality; minimize mortality from all diseases; and minimize mortality in the entire population." Our latest #COVID19 op-ed: spectator.co.uk/article/lock…

Totally agree. The lockdown strategy won't solve this problem.

Quite excellent.
"I haven't got time" is the lie we tell ourselves when we have other priorities. Choose your priorities consciously because they determine who you are and the life you live. #MondayMotivation

#UKLockdownNow and implement 2m distancing in supermarkets - this is a weak link and no one is talking about it. @MattHancock @BBCNews @SkyNews @itvnews #COVID2019 #coronavirusuk

But how do shoppers stay 2m apart in shops? Nothing is being done about this as far as I know #COVID #covid19UK @sainsburys @Tesco @asda
These are unprecedented times. The arrival of the #coronavirus is having a profound effect on all our lives. Understanding what is happening - and why - has never been more important. ❤️ this tweet to receive special coverage and updates from Sky News on the #COVID19 outbreak
Really good idea - #FoodSecurity more important than ever in these challenging times

Autumn is a time for leaves of all colours
Autumn doesn’t only come in shades of dying leaves. Low-slant morning sunlight gives us the most brilliant of lingering green. #mygarden

Do these photos from @PrimaryPalmer look fuzzy? Each photo is composed of the same number of pixels as there are individuals of that species in the wild...

Let's encourage more pollinators with less mowing.
If we stop over-mowing our gardens, community spaces, green corners and #roadverges, and stop dosing them with weedkiller... Less work, less fossil fuel use, less cost. More wildlife, more wildflowers, more insects. 🐝🐞🐸 #climateaction #nature

In my opinion, this is the way forward. Highly processed food plus the degradation of our soils have done nothing for us. Time to reverse this so we can all live healthier lives @alzheimerssoc @CU_STH @aab2038
If we’re going to treat and prevent Alzheimer's, we have to determine for each person, what are the insults the brain is protecting itself from. Then we need to look at what needs to be rebuilt that we’ve lost so far. That’s the approach we’ve taken. bit.ly/2ZPtwLZ

Adding s little bit of greenery in front of a building can make so much difference - both for humans and for other animals. Even a pot of flowers regularly tended and watered makes a difference!
