Our law enforcement officers dedicate their lives to protecting others, but too often, their own health takes a back seat. Long shifts, stress, and limited food options take a toll. Better nutrition is part of the solution. More on #TheRealFoodShow: youtube.com/watch?v=Q3Pg9H8x…

For decades, major questions about women’s health have gone unanswered. @POTUS and @FLOTUS are changing that. Patients and doctors shouldn’t have to fall back on faxes and paperwork simply because of how a patient’s health plan is funded. We’ve brought insurers, providers, and technology companies to the table to modernize prior authorization, and now employers are helping us take another important step. When the entire healthcare system moves together, we can spend less time on paperwork and more time getting patients the care they need.
CMS and @USDOL announced that five leading employers have signed a statement of support to make the technical improvements and other capabilities being developed through the 2025 Prior Authorization Pledge available to employers that sponsor self-funded health plans. Funding basic science that advances our understanding of menopause, endometriosis, and other women’s health issues is important—but we can do more. Our new NIH Women’s Health Division will work in concert with the White House Women’s Health Task Force to translate findings from basic studies into cutting-edge solutions that help American women live longer, healthier lives.
First lady Melania Trump is set to spearhead the effort to focus on health issues that disproportionately impact woman, after President Trump signed an executive order to launch a task force Monday. NIH Director @DrJBhattacharya and Alicia Jackson, director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health, tell @gayleking and @norahodonell how they hope the task force drives more solutions for physicians and women in the U.S.
