Ok, we're going to try this again.......this time with a bit more notice.
The next #RedforEdAB donut challenge will be on our next bargaining day, Oct. 2. This will be for schools in the donut around Edmonton, not in Edmonton.
Tag me in your social media post.

We need schools but we also need solutions NOW to address the current issues like increased class sizes, lack of resources, support for special needs students, and teacher burn out.
Also, we do not need to be directing more public dollars to private school.
We're fast-tracking the building of schools.
This will make sure our $8.6 billion commitment builds up to 30 new schools and modernizes or replaces up to 8 schools every year for the next three years to create 200,000 student spaces over the next seven years.

Regardless of capability level, all students should receive personal and descriptive feedback about what they are doing well and what they might do to improve their learning. #AssessmentinPHE

So beautiful. Check in on your friends...even the seemingly strong & happy ones.
This was not easy for me to write, but if it helps one person, then it's all worth it.
We love you, Katie.

The best part of the new site is that it makes me feel ✨excited✨ to be creating on it.
The biggest driving force behind the redesign was "how can I remove as much friction as possible?" That goal was for me (who creates content on the site) and you (who consumes content).
👷 ThePhysicalEducator.com has been completely rebuilt and redesigned from the ground up. I've been working on this for a long time now and I am SO EXCITED to finally have a launch date in sight!
📅 Expect the new version of the site to go live on July 17th! #physed
