In an interview with Chief Healthcare Executive, FHA President and CEO Mary Mayhew discussed how hospitals are coordinating with local emergency management leaders in preparation for Hurricane Helene to make landfall.
"They also have been very focused on that to make sure that those individuals have not just a shelter to go to, but a shelter that can accommodate the acuity of their medical needs," Mayhew said.
