Oregon man sentenced to 480 months - 40 years! - in federal prison for possessing and transporting child sex abuse material depicting a prepubescent child.
Jayson Setera, 51, of Newberg, Oregon, was sentenced in the District of New Jersey to 480 months in federal prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, for possessing and transporting child sex abuse material depicting a prepubescent child.
The sentence, which was the statutory maximum on both counts, follows an HSI New Jersey investigation with support from CBP that found Setera transported CSAM aboard an international flight into Newark Liberty International Airport.
