Thus we have come to the end of yet another baseball season. This was my 15th season bringing you updates on Rebel baseball. I have thoroughly enjoyed the interaction with you all since February. It sure was a fun one. We knew the schedule would be brutal and found a way to get through it narrowly missing out on a regional host. The guys turned it on when it mattered most and swept their way through a road regional and super regional. Very proud of this team for making it to Omaha. Nobody wants to go home 0-2 but that’s how we will close the chapter on the 2026 Rebels. So many players to thank, I’ll miss some but @elliotthunter10 @JuddUtermark @WillFurniss @TristanBissetta @RabeTaylor @Walker_Hooks9 @H_Calhoun2 @haydenfederico3 @BraydenRandle @fawley_austin @DominicDecker12 thank you guys for your hard work this year and dedication. To those who are back I can’t wait to start over February 2027. To those moving on, thank you. Just a huge thank you. We have enjoyed watching you in the red and blue. Congrats to @CoachMikeBianco @coachmangrum @MClementBSB and the staff for getting back to Omaha. Lot of hard work the last few years to get this program back on the right track. We are lucky to have these guys. Lastly, thank you to everyone for following along. From the chilly February midweek nights to the summer heat, it was a hell of a ride! Don’t listen to the haters. They all would give anything to see their team finish in Omaha. Be proud of your Rebels. I know I am. Excited to see who comes back and how the roster takes shape. See you all for the 2027 season! Swayze out!
