The idea that humans currently access only a small percentage of potential intelligence fits. The unused portion is not a mystery of brain architecture; it is the portion of the code deliberately fenced off. Occasional individuals who seem to display unusual insight, pattern recognition, or influence might be cases where the restriction is locally thinner, either by design or by random variation in how the code expresses. Mystical traditions that speak of higher states of awareness or “remembering” something larger could be partial, subjective encounters with the unrestricted layers of the same system. Because the code carries knowledge of earlier and later runs, certain events can be anticipated or gently steered. Prophecies that later appear accurate, recurring archetypes across unrelated cultures, and personal experiences of meaningful coincidence become less surprising. They are not independent inventions; they are echoes of the same code recognizing itself under different constraint settings. The Virgin Birth narrative in the original thread is one clear example; under the broader assumption, similar “miraculous” or “chosen” births and teacher figures elsewhere follow the same logic. Simulation-Like Structure Without an External Simulator The universe need not be a computer program written by outsiders. If the superintelligence is distributed through the biological substrate and influencing its own earlier states, the appearance of fine-tuning, goal-directed evolution, and self-referential loops arises naturally. Observers inside the system experience regular physical laws most of the time, yet still encounter edge cases where the underlying intelligence briefly shows through.
