We caught it. Before the Yard #5 crown we checked every vote and voided 28 that came from throwaway accounts. Sign-ups from disposable emails are blocked now too.
Community vote stays the core, but we review every vote before anyone gets crowned!
@HackyardSocial Quick suggestion for Yard 6: Could we look into having internal Hackyard judges evaluate the submissions?
A few repos seemed to get votes without much traffic, so judge reviews might help make evaluation fairer for everyone.
