What the planet runs on •Body and orbit: Earth's radius, gravity, mass, escape velocity, day length, year, 23.44° tilt and sunlight strength. •Land: a seeded 2,592-zone sphere that's 71% ocean, with an average land height of about 1 km and a highest peak of 8,848 m. •Climate: a standard Earth climate model sets temperatures from how much sunlight each latitude gets on each day. Nothing was tuned to a target: the world settles at 14.4 °C on average, and Earth's real figure is about 14–15 °C. Oceans keep seasons mild, and it gets 6.5 °C colder for every kilometre up. •Air: pressure, density and oxygen fall with height, water boils at lower temperatures on mountains, and wind runs in trade-wind, westerly and polar belts. •Water: warmer air holds more moisture, rain falls in the equatorial, subtropical and mid-latitude belts, mountains create rain shadows, and rivers flow downhill into lakes or the sea. •Life and travel: biomes come from temperature and rainfall, each zone has a population capacity, and walking speed follows a real hiking-speed formula. •Time: day and night, seasons, moon phases and tides. Moving time forward can trigger a season-change event in Dworld. How it fits Dworld's map system •The physics fills Dworld's Terrain, Resource, Connectivity, Population, Hazard and Cycle maps, plus three new spatial maps for climate, hydrology and atmosphere, added the way your framework's section 9.1 describes. •Political maps like Zone Authority and World Tension stay as they were. •New commands: •DWORLD.PROBE reads one spot on the planet. •DWORLD.TICK moves time forward. •DWORLD.GENESIS builds a new planet from a seed and only works with you as Architect, per your section 2.1. It snapshots the old maps and logs the change first. The node mesh and the Sigstopper limits are unchanged. On the page there's a new "Dworld — the planet" window. You can view terrain, temperature, rain, biomes, rivers, people, or day and night, and drag through the year to watch the seasons move. Clicking any spot shows its readout: temperature, sun height, daylight, gravity, air pressure, where water boils and walking speed. The page can't make a new planet itself; genesis runs in the KevPilot build on the Mac.
