Byli prezesi Trybunału Konstytucyjnego przerwali milczenie. Marek Safjan, Jerzy Stępień, Bohdan Zdziennicki i Andrzej Zoll wydali wspólne oświadczenie, w którym stają murem za nowo wybranymi sędziami TK. Zdaniem sygnatariuszy należy zwołać Zgromadzenie Ogólne sędziów TK i podjąć uchwały w sprawie wniosków Prokuratora Generalnego o uchylenie immunitetów Bogdana Święczkowskiego i Bartłomieja Sochańskiego.

NAFO: The Decentralized Army the World Doesn’t Fully Appreciate ✊ I’ve been part of NAFO for few years, and I genuinely believe it’s one of the most extraordinary things to emerge from the internet age. Not just because of what it has done for Ukraine, but because of what it represents for the future of humanity. Think about this for a moment. People from all over the world, different nationalities, languages, professions, political backgrounds, and walks of life, united by a common purpose. No conventional headquarters. No central command telling everyone what to do. No mandatory membership fees. No salaries for the ordinary Fellas and Fellarinas spending their time fighting Russian propaganda. And yet, somehow, it works. People organize themselves. They expose disinformation, ridicule propaganda, support Ukraine, raise money, and help deliver real equipment to people fighting for their country’s survival. Nobody has to order them around. They simply give a damn. How many people belong to NAFO? Hundreds of thousands? Millions? I don’t know. And that’s partly the beauty of it. You cannot easily count a movement that doesn’t require people to formally join in the first place. Now think about the other side. Russia has spent years developing an enormous propaganda and information warfare apparatus, supported by state resources, intelligence operations, media networks, covert influence campaigns, and increasingly sophisticated technology. Its operations have reached deep into democratic societies, exploiting political divisions and public distrust. And what has the democratic world done in response? Yes, Europe has institutions, initiatives, researchers, and programs dedicated to countering foreign information manipulation. But are we seriously matching the scale of the threat? Imagine the European Union treating information warfare with the same seriousness it treats conventional military threats. Imagine investing billions into independent research, advanced AI detection systems, public education, investigative journalism, and the infrastructure needed to expose coordinated foreign manipulation. And now imagine that institutional capability existing alongside a global, organic, decentralized movement like NAFO. Not controlling NAFO. Not buying it. Not turning Fellas into government employees or political operatives. Helping build the tools, knowledge, and open infrastructure that independent people can use however they choose. That’s the extraordinary possibility I see. A powerful, properly funded democratic defense system working in the same information environment as an independent, decentralized global community. One provides institutional resources. The other provides something that money cannot manufacture: authentic human participation. And perhaps the most important lesson of NAFO has nothing to do with Russia or Ukraine alone. Perhaps NAFO is showing us something much bigger about how human beings can organize, cooperate, and exercise collective power without surrendering their independence to centralized authority. We spend billions developing technologies that promise decentralization. Meanwhile, a bunch of Fellas on the internet have been demonstrating what organic human decentralization can look like. And I think the world has barely begun to understand the significance of that. We are NAFO, and this is the way✊

The situation in Poland is much simpler than all the talk of a “coup” suggests. PiS, Jarosław Kaczyński’s party, which backed current President Karol Nawrocki, refused to recognise three lawfully elected Constitutional Tribunal judges back in 2015, together with then-President Andrzej Duda. Those judges were Roman Hauser, Andrzej Jakubecki and Krzysztof Ślebzak. PiS installed its own picks in their seats: Henryk Cioch, Lech Morawski and Mariusz Muszyński. Even after the Tribunal confirmed that the original three had been lawfully elected, PiS and Duda refused to respect its ruling. They put their own political interests above the court’s decision. Yes, the previous PO–PSL coalition had also broken the rules by electing two additional judges before it was entitled to: Bronisław Sitek and Andrzej Sokala. But when the Tribunal ruled against those appointments, the coalition accepted the decision. Borys Budka even apologised on behalf of PO. PiS never complied with the ruling concerning the three lawfully elected judges. That difference matters. One side accepted an unfavourable ruling. The other refused to obey it. The court’s membership changed over the years. Cioch and Morawski died in 2017 and were replaced by Jarosław Wyrembak and Justyn Piskorski. Muszyński’s nine-year term ended in December 2024. Other judges’ terms ended too. Seats became vacant, and new judges needed to be elected. Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal judges are elected by the Sejm, the lower house of parliament, for nine-year terms. Donald Tusk’s governing coalition currently holds a majority there. That majority has the constitutional right to elect judges to fill those vacancies. PiS losing its parliamentary majority did not give it the right to block that process indefinitely. The Sejm elected eight new judges. President Nawrocki accepted the oaths of three: Magdalena Bentkowska, Dariusz Szostek and Sławomir Patyra. But he refused to accept the oaths of the other five: Krystian Markiewicz, Maciej Taborowski, Marcin Dziurda, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska and Maciej Berek. They eventually took their oaths without him present, formally addressing them to the president. The oath is required by law. But it does not give the president a personal veto over parliament’s choice of judges. He is required to accept their oaths. The Tribunal itself ruled on this back in 2015. In October 2026, the Venice Commission backed that interpretation and supported allowing judges to take their oaths without the president physically present if he blocks the process, provided the necessary formalities are followed. Yet the leadership of the very same Tribunal where PiS had unlawfully installed its own judges refused to let the new judges do their jobs. The court’s president, Bogdan Święczkowski, insisted that they could not serve unless they took their oaths in Nawrocki’s presence. The president blocked the normal procedure, and the Tribunal’s leadership used that blockage to keep them out. On October 30, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska announced the temporary suspension of Święczkowski and his deputy, Bartłomiej Sochański, and assumed leadership of the Tribunal. Lawyers dispute whether she had the legal authority to suspend them in that way. That specific step deserves legal scrutiny. It does not erase the obstruction that led to it. I support Tusk’s efforts to end this obstruction, and I don’t buy the claims of a coup. PiS does not get to unlawfully install its own judges, refuse to respect court rulings, and then demand that everyone treat the situation it created as untouchable. Tusk is right to push back. Judges elected by the Sejm should be allowed to do their jobs. The president has constitutional duties, not a personal veto over the court’s membership. And PiS has no permanent claim to Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal.

Ukraine voted against the US embargo in 2013. Then, Cuba recognised occupied Crimea as Russian and voted against the UN resolution affirming it as Ukraine. So maybe don't cry about Ukraine responding to that.

I’m on Twitter / X through a VPN in Dallas, Texas, following the midterm elections. I’m actually based in the Netherlands. And honestly, I’m absolutely stunned by the sheer scale of MAGA propaganda being shoved down Americans’ throats. It’s as if Elon Musk has shoved a billion-dollar funnel into the mouths of American voters and is force-feeding them a grotesque blend of oligarchic and fascist propaganda until all that comes out is Republican foie gras. The amount of Republican propaganda flooding your timeline is genuinely insane. 1. The so-called “America” account. At the very top of the #1 Trending Topics, you’ll find an advertisement from an account called “America”. Except it’s not America. It’s a Republican propaganda account, sporting a gold verification badge, designed to manipulate and indoctrinate American voters. 2. Open Twitter / X from Texas. A video automatically starts playing, portraying James Talarico as some kind of public enemy. Cheap, shameless political propaganda. Not a single word about his opponent, Ken Paxton. Just an endless stream of attacks on Talarico. Wonder why? Perhaps because Ken Paxton has quite a little history of his own: ●Alleged corruption involving wealthy donor Nate Paul. ●Abuse of public office. ●Alleged bribery. ●Securities fraud charges. ●Alleged obstruction of justice. ●Retaliation against whistleblowers. ●Firing employees who reported him to the FBI. ●Alleged misuse of taxpayer-funded resources. ●Alleged interference in law-enforcement investigations. ●Alleged preferential treatment of political donors. ●Undisclosed compensation for promoting a company’s stock. ●Employment assistance for a woman with whom he acknowledged having an affair. ●Impeachment by the Republican-controlled Texas House. ●Acquittal by the Texas Senate. ●A $6.6 million whistleblower settlement. ●Controversy over extensive travel and taxpayer-funded security expenses. Quite a résumé, isn’t it? 3. Fearmongering. Republicans are also pushing the narrative that if Democrats win, democracy itself will be doomed. Let that sink in for a moment. They’re telling Americans that voting for Democrats is somehow a vote against democracy. The irony is apparently completely lost on them. 4. Project 2025. And then there’s Project 2025. A detailed political blueprint for fundamentally reshaping the American federal government, concentrating executive power and dismantling longstanding institutional safeguards. Critics have warned that its proposals threaten democratic checks and balances and could pave the way for authoritarian rule. This isn’t some obscure conspiracy theory. Its ideas are already influencing and being implemented in American politics. 5. Try a little experiment. Google “James Talarico”. The first two results you’ll encounter are sponsored advertisements paid for by TEXAS PAC and MAGA Inc. Both pushing anti-Democratic messaging. (See attached screenshot.) This is what American voters are up against. An unprecedented propaganda machine, backed by billionaires, political PACs and a social media platform that has become an increasingly powerful vehicle for partisan messaging. And apparently, we’re supposed to believe this is all just about freedom of speech. America, you deserve better than this. Vote Blue. Vote Talarico. Vote for democracy. Vote for peace. For neighborliness. For tolerance. Vote against hate. Vote against polarization. Vote for your wallet. Vote to keep your freedom. Vote for inclusion ans tolerance. Vote James Talarico. Do what is needed for the future or yourself ánd your children. Like ❤️ and RT this please.
