Mac Hagemaster

Tremendous All Around Play from the Man in the Middle, Mac Hagemaster The 6’8 Lewis University commit started Homewood at the start of the game by winning the tip off and getting all of his teammates involved from the front court. His Presence was invaluable against Normal’s tremendous size advantage. No problem for Big 🍔… He’s a State Champion -@HagemasterMac @HFVikingHoops @HFHSAthletics

Yall show some love for Big Mac Hagemaster for his incredible contributions tonight and the entire season. The Lewis commit was instrumental for the Vikings giving them much needed presence in the middle. If Anybody ever got passed the front 4, they had to see Big 🍔 in the middle, which didn’t work out well for them.. He’s a State Champion 🤷🏽‍♂️@HFVikingHoops

The strength of a team lies in the brotherhood they share. Without it, they are just individuals. This is exactly what brotherhood looks like 👇🏽@Bryceheard_ @HagemasterMac @official_jd01 @GianniCobb @Cbrownfield33 Bryce, Mac, Jaden, Gianni and Carson

Big ‘MAC’ Hagemaster with 2 Rebounds and 1 assist in less than 10 seconds of game play. This ish here was phenomenal and my favorite sequence of him in last night’s sectional semifinal win against Joliet West. ‘Offense wins games, but Defense wins Championships’ -Bear Bryant

In a thrilling matchup, Coach Jamere Dismukes and the Homewood Flossmoor Vikings secured a hard-fought 68-66 overtime victory against the formidable Joliet West Basketball Team in the sectional semi-final. The win propels Homewood Flossmoor to the Sectional Championship, where they will face the winner of Bloom vs Marist. Now, let's dive into the game. While every player on Homewood Flossmoor played a pivotal role in this collective triumph, the coveted Uncle Curt's Red Kool Aid Player of the Game title goes to 'BIG' MAC' Hagemaster. His exceptional performance on both ends of the court was a game-changer. From plugging up the middle with unmatched skill to asserting his dominance early in the first quarter until his late-game exit in overtime due to fouls, BIG MAC showcased defensive prowess that was second to none. Opponents attempting to penetrate the defense had to contend with the imposing Lewis Commit, and it was far from a pleasant experience, given his impeccable timing. Upon reviewing the game footage, BIG MAC's defensive impact becomes even more apparent, tallying an impressive count of five blocks. Not to mention the countless shot alterations, often overlooked in today's game. BIG MAC not only contributed defensively but also set the tone for the entire game with his suffocating defense, remarkable outlet passes, and effective back-to-the-basket play on the offensive end. His all-around performance made him the linchpin for the Vikings' success tonight. Christy Hagemaster your baby was all of that tonight.. 💯👊🏾🖤
