Bennett on hardships: "You certainly feel things and things bother you, but where does peace and perspective come from? I always tell our guys, it has to be something unconditional. I know I have that in the love of my family. And I know I have that in my faith." 🔶⚔️🔷 #GoHoos

How you practice & train has a huge impact on how you play! You can't expect to play hard if you always practice soft!!!

How well you respond to a loss or failure shows what type of competitor u are:
Sulk, pout, make excuses or...
Take it out on the next team!
Nathan Hale Raiders retweeted
U don't have 2 be fast 2 be a great base runner! Understand situations, get good reads, anticipate possibilities, be smart & study the game!
Nathan Hale Raiders retweeted
Winning teams don't pout, whine, complain, make excuses or dwell on losses—they learn from them & move on! A loss should lead to motivation!

Hitters:
Always commit your mind 2 swing the bat on every pitch until the ball shows u otherwise!

Your swing becomes a problem when it controls your mind! Hitting is not about your swing, it's about competing for your team!!
