Anybody else make a good Mac and cheese one time and become the official Mac and cheese person for life?

My grandma was so excited to show me the new floors in the single ancient grocery store in my hometown today. Big things happening around here, I tell ya.

Still trying to figure out how I got a degree in livestock production, but am entering my 6th year teaching elementary school.

My 12 year old niece wanted a way to earn some money, and I want my house cleaned, so we struck a deal. SOMEONE TELL ME WHY THIS 12 YEAR OLD CLEANED MY HOUSE BETTER THAN I DO.🤣

Marrying a cowboy is all fun and games until there’s a herd of them walking in your door at 10:30 PM looking for dinner.💀

Holy shit. I got married today.

I just had someone RSVP to our wedding, but neither of us can figure out who the person is… Tell me your wedding is out of control, without telling me your wedding is out of control.

Nobody told me that half of having a cowboy for a husband is just trying to keep them alive.🙃

Can we talk about how outdated the idea of someone “giving you away” at your wedding is? I’m not property.😅 We’re definitely 86ing that one at our wedding.

It took Launz and I all of 5 minutes to take our tree down last night, and that’s on a pre-lit skinny tree with minimal ornaments.🤣

There is no better feeling than that after Christmas purge and deep clean.

A slow day of housework and dinner/games with friends was good for my soul today after the craziness of Christmas.

Anybody else just really not feeling the Christmas spirit this year, or am I just a grinch?😅

Launz gave me fun money for my bachelorette weekend, then cooked me dinner while I napped after I got home. If they want to, they will. The right person is worth waiting for, y’all.

For the first time in my teaching career, I had no “developing” on my evaluation. Only effective and highly effective. I got compliments that I was a natural with that subject. Talk about a “let go and let God” moment, because this is not what I saw myself doing in life.

My bachelorette party is this weekend and I’m having this surreal moment of “Oh, it’s my turn now. This is for me.” If heartbroken 16 year old me could have just seen the future, I’d have known I would get the man I was praying so hard for at the time.

Why do I not worry about Launz doing something he shouldn’t? A girl tried to flirt with him tonight while I wasn’t around. He immediately left where he was and called me to tell me. Respect in a relationship should always be a priority.🙌🏻
