Very sad day yesterday. Three deaths. 1 road, 1 road-but-made-it-back-home and 1 Hoglet/juvenile. On the upside, 2 blind boys, Gavin the Great & Theodore went to their forever enclosed safe garden. Happy hogging lads! Xx
Itβs been non stop in Hedgehog Rescue these last few weeks. The heavy rains have caused a lot of nests to be washed away. Remember - out in the day not ok (unless theyβre busy like Mumma Hog in the clip courtesy of @RescueHedgehog ) out at night, things are alright. Xπ¦X
Our 4 hand rear babies went wild side this week! Just to point out, this was late evening and the hogs are not out in the day! Two of them have ventured forth and have been sighted in gardens a mile away. The other two know where the scran is! ππ¦

Slugs are hosts to lungworm.
Lungworm kills all mammals unless treated.
Hedgehogs do not voluntarily eat slugs.
While people still believe they do, hedgehogs will continue dying of starvation and parasite invasion.
