Never actually said that. Start of the manifesto listed 3 different tax rises that were planned. The Conservatives spent the entire election campaign moaning about Labour's tax raising plans, and now claim Labour never had such plans? Do they think people's memories are that bad?

The VAT on private schools is a vindictive piece of class warfare which will hurt parents who scrimp and save to pay school fees.
This game is incredible.
I turned America socialist, dismantled the surveillance state and then got assassinated by a neo-nazi who could have been stopped had the security forces been able to spy freely on everyone. Sounds about right.

Absolutely incendiary speech by Cory Doctorow. Excoriates the "enshittification" of everything. Well worth a listen. youtu.be/4EmstuO0Em8

So many hawks bang on about needing trident AND nuclear power. But it is very clear that if you want trident to fight Russia, then you really don't want to have juicy infrastructure targets, too... bbc.co.uk/news/live/cvg58p0d…
Solar on every roof = resilience + national security
There's still 10 hours to knock me off the top spot!
Here's hoping @AshyRaven is having a day off! 😅

God it's like reading the musings of primary school children. Obviously democracy is about majority not unanimity. Same guy probably creamed his pants when Vote Leave won by 4% but now he's here, butthurt Reform Ltd got 3.1% vote share vs Greens 56% vote share.
This is why we need proportional representation...

You absolute star.
I backed this, it looks really cool!
If you like D20-based fantasy RPGs, check it out!
Less than 34 hours left to back Distal, and we're just shy of goal! Every pledge counts, and we need about 1.7 hardcovers per hour to pull it off.
If you want to support a solo author's first foray into the #TTRPG space, make a pledge here!

Obviously get rekt Tories but interesting that Labour hasn't been picking up all the Tory seats - the real winners are the minority parties. We're only around the halfway mark but this is looking like the emerging trend.
Starmer, centrism isn't helping you! Stand for something!
It has begun. I have to go to bed but I'm enjoying the trend set by the first few results ...

If a Rwanda flight does take off…
Your bills will still be as expensive
Your wait for a GP/hospital bed will still be as long
Your court date will still be as delayed
Your taxes will still be as high
…but we will all be more more morally & financially bankrupt as a nation
