What’s helped me throughout my entire life is the mental practice of focusing on the present. You can’t directly control the future, so you’ll just end up depressed. You can’t fix the past so you’ll just end up full of regret. You gotta live in the here and now, and love yourself

things current and former students of mine have done that they attribute to voice training:
- went on their first date post-transition
- ordered for themself at a restaurant for the first time
- began university getting gendered correctly by strangers for the first time
- came out to their friends/family with confidence
- began reaching out to surgeons to continue other transition steps they long wanted but didn't think they were "woman enough" to do until voice training
- went to a party for the first time in their life
- went to their city's card game locals and made irl friends for the first time since transitioning
- went to their first pride and felt like they could express themselves and cheer in the crowd
- could continue creating online content more comfortable in how they sounded
note how many of these are firsts. so many new experiences that began with trying something a little challenging but ultimately life changing. you got this ✨

doomer trans ppl seem to have this mind bogglingly false view that being "clocky" is a life sentence which trans ppl who "pass" have never experienced as opppsed to the truth that clockiness is a stepping stone every girl has walked on

it’s hard to feel sorry for doomers when most of their excuses boil down to “nooo i cant transition what if i look like a trаnnу”

i am once again asking trans women to please voice train.
it will make your life better, i promise. it is some work to learn, but it is so so so worth it. and you CAN learn it. it just takes practice.

I think it's fascinating how when you see a physical disability activist who does outreach work saying "yeah this life is hard but I'm thankful for what it's offered me" there is rightfully a sense of unanimous praise from both disabled and able bodied people.
But when a transsexual says that they have a sense of gratitude and joy for this hand they've been dealt despite its challenges, a bunch of people who share a vernacular/culture identical to incels get unfathomably angry with you.

Denying that gender dysphoria is a real medical condition that causes unchosen suffering is fundamentally not a serious intellectual position.

tired of gen 1 tgirl variants. puppy, fox, deer, and cat are OUT. i'm now presenting tgirl 2.0!! we got ratgirls, beargirls, goatgirls, and dolphingirls! now featuring aquatic traits! after 9 years in development, hopefully it will have been worth the wait. thanks and have fun!

as with many aspects of transition, it’s a lifelong dance between the girl you want to be and the girl you’re best equipped to be right now
