Another successful work party at Handforth Station, today. Thanks to all of the willing volunteers, who have such great pride in their local station.

We were thrilled to win the Railway 200 Award at the @BestKeptStation ‘s event last week.
The group arranged a series of events throughout the year to mark 200 years of Britains Railways.

Leaving 2025 and steaming into 2026 - Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone, and hoping you have a fantastic year ahead.
Members of Friends of Handforth Station attended the annual Cheshire Best Kept Stations awards evening in Crewe, last night.
No awards for Handforth, this time, but an enjoyable evening, celebrating success with other volunteer groups.
