Niantic has a job posting for a Senior Testing Engineer, specifically for automated testing of Pokemon Go.
In my view, testing is their their biggest deficiency. Seeing a testing position open gives me a tiny glimmer of hope that they want to make things better.

Ive been remote raiding all day, I’ve not cheated or used a third party app, I’ve played the same way I’ve always played. this happened to other raiders last year and I can see it happening to others today, I think it’s ridiculous to punish people for raiding on the only time in the year we are allowed to remote raid to your hearts content, apparently this means I’ll miss a whole day of paid go fest ticket, can this be lifted or a valid reason given as to why I’m not allowed to log on

We have a big problem with trainer battles right now. Damage from “sneaks” are not being applied to the opposing pokemon. Pay close attention to the lycanroc’s HP after each charge move is thrown - the confusion damage does not apply to the mon, but I received the energy for it. Please fix ASAP @NianticHelp
