#Remembered 31/10/2015, Jim Coleman, father of 2 children, ex UDR/RIR, died after a short illness #OTD. Mr Coleman`s body was interred in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.

#Remembered 30/10/1976, Charles Corbett & John Maguire, delivery drivers for @BelTel, murdered by UVF - Samuel Gilliland & Robert McKay, while delivering papers in Crumlin Rd area, Belfast, N Ireland. Mr Maguire`s son 10, present was shot in his leg #OTD belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/…

#Remembered 27/10/1974, Anthony Duffy, 18, Catholic, murdered by UVF terrorists. Beaten, strangled & shot x3, after he & friend (escaped) took lift home from Lurgan. Body dumped at Mullantine, Portadown, N Ireland, #OTD. Wilfred Cummings & Thomas William Clarke legally convicted.

#Remembered 27/10/1971, IRA attempted to murder Fusilier Pat King (2 Reg RRF) from Kirby, Liverpool while on guard duty @ Unity Flats, Belfast, N Ireland. Shot in head (steel helmet) by a HV bullet & fell 15 feet onto a roof covering 4 storeys; he returned to duty soon after #OTD

#Remembered 26/10/1993, James Cameron, 54, and Mark Rodgers, 28, Roman Catholic Council workers at @belfastcc, Northern Ireland, based at Kennedy Way, Andersonstown, murdered by UFF loyalist terrorists. 2 sectarian murderers sprayed machine gun and rifle fire at 7:30 am #OTD

#Remembered 25/10/1978, William (Billy) Smyth, 54, Roman Catholic understood murdered by UDA/UFF loyalists terrorists, shot near his home, Ballynure St/Oldpark Junction, N. Ireland, walking home midnight from job as manager at Catholic ex-Servicemen`s Club #OTD. Alleged mistake.

#Remembered 21/10/1969, Thomas McDowell died after blowing himself to eternity by his UVF choices @Ballyshannon leaving a large family & a never mentioned legacy. 5 years to the day, 1974, Loughran/Morgan Bros were gunned down by UVF. Hutchinson, later a Councillor convicted #OTD

#Remembered 21/10/1972, Andrew Gordon Harron, RUC Const fatally wounded, shot detaining 4 UDA stopped in a stolen car, Shore Rd, N. Belfast late on 17/10; died on 21/10/72 #OTD. Later awarded Queen`s Medal for Gallantry. Browne`s death sentence reprieved. Comrade R Moore injured

#Remembered 21/10/1974, Michael Loughran, 18 & Edward Morgan, 27, RCs, half brothers with a Protestant father, murdered by UVF on way to work. Shot from passing car, at the junction of Falls Road/Northumberland St, Belfast. UVF, Hutchinson (later elected Councillor) jailed. #OTD
