After more than five decades since calling his first Husker game, Kent Pavelka has announced the 2026-27 season will be his last. 🎙️
From calling Tom Osborne’s national championships in 1994 and 1995 to Nebraska’s first-ever NCAA Tournament win and Sweet 16 run last season, Kent has been the soundtrack of Husker sports for generations.
Husker Nation appreciates all the memories and the countless calls over the years. ❤️

If only Midland and Northwestern had played this year...
The first ARC NAIA Football poll is out and Midland is not in the Top 15.
Morningside, Dordt and Northwestern all are at No. 5, No. 13 and No. 14.
Warriors 12th in the Performance Index, ahead of Dordt (20).

His connection to the listeners is one-of-a-kind. Legendary status through decades of dedication.

Scott Frost wins his first game over a ranked team since beating Auburn with UCF on January 1st, 2018.
His first OT win since the 2 OT AAC Championship over Memphis that same year.
And over No. 2 BYU no less.

Midland faces 4th and 14 after this was rule intentional grounding, which I’m no rules expert but I don’t think is correct.
Beautiful day for college football as No. 18 Midland (6-1) hosts Hastings (3-3) in a rivalry that will write its 91st chapter today. Midland has won nine of the last ten meetings.

Seeing tons of short clips circulating from Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule’s press conference today.
Regardless of your opinion on Rhule or the state of the program, context matters.
I’d encourage #Huskers fans to watch his full press conference and draw their own conclusions. youtu.be/-ANYxjzwcIw?is=dsD5…
