12am and I’m laying here with my mind racing about everything. Shit I can’t change, shit I can’t control, and shit I’m trying to figure out. I’m tired as hell but my brain won’t shut up. Some nights are just harder than others.

What's something you were sure you couldn't do sober, and then did anyway?

During my addiction I never had a bank account. Every dollar went to meth. 565 days clean and I just got my own @XMoney card in the mail. Now I have a clear head, bills paid, and my money where it's supposed to be. #RecoveryPosse

Money's tight right now, not gonna lie. When I was using I had no clue where my money went. Well, I knew. I just didn't want to think about it.

Before meth took it all from me. Getting it back one day at a time.

I didn't quit because I hit rock bottom.
I quit because my daughter needed me and I wasn't there. I couldn't live with that guy anymore.

Nighttime hits different when your mind won’t shut off. Laying there overthinking everything, fighting battles nobody sees. That’s when it’s easy to fall back into old habits. Remind yourself why you stopped & take it one night at a time.

I love stories like this. It’s a reminder that even at dark moments, life can turn around. Respect. ✊
823 days sober. No iv heroin, fentanyl & crack cocaine. 2 years and 3 months ago I was still living on the streets. I never thought this life would even be possible for me.
On July 21, 2024, my dad saved me when I had nothing left. He got me off the streets and believed in me even though I didn't believe in myself anymore. Forever grateful

I used to think everybody was talking about me behind my back. Most of them were just living their lives. That was the paranoia talking.

My work hours are getting cut, bills keep coming, and shit is getting tight financially. I’m doing my best to keep my head above water and stay on the right path. Some days it’s a lot to carry but days like this are what make or break you.

Imagine fighting to rebuild your life, staying sober, and paying $100 an hour just to see your own daughter. Shit like this breaks people. I’m angry, but I refuse to let the stress take me to the hell I fought hard to escape.

One day you get tired of living the same life over and over. You get tired of your own bullshit, the mistakes, and watching yourself throw your life away. Something in you finally says enough is enough. You realize you deserve better and you start making changes.

Some of y'all are carrying shame from stuff you did when you were using. I get it. BUT you're not that person anymore. Stop punishing the guy/girl who's trying.

I really thought I was just a night owl. Nope. That was the meth.

When's the first time you remember really laughing after you got sober? The kind where you can't stop.

My mornings used to start with paranoia. Now they start with caffeine, focus, and a goal for the day.

Getting hungry at normal times again is a weird thing to be grateful for. Meth took that from me for a long time.
